The Director General of Space Patrol's Ogikubo branch. He has a strong sense of justice, to the point that his many catchphrases include the word "Justice." Although he talks big, he acts little, often relying on other characters, especially his secretary. He also jumps to conclusions, as seen when he repeatedly arrests and frees Luluco in the first episode.
He is almost always seen sitting at his desk and gesturing with his extended index and middle fingers in the shape of a gun. His skeletal body constantly burns with a purple flame, which appears to be a manifestation of his sense of justice.

Together with him Ino Yamanaka, and Asuma Sarutobi they make team 10. Choji has a love for food, his favorite being Korean barbecue, general snacks and sweets, and basically anything that is edible. His nigh-constant hunger is a constant annoyance for his teammates, as sating himself often comes before other necessities such as stealth and teamwork. Because of this, his teammates often use food against him, such as offering him food as a reward for accomplishing a task or simply using his favorite foods as a form of blackmail. Despite his open display for his love of food, Choji is very sensitive about his size and becomes highly agitated when somebody calls him "fat." Once called "fat," Choji's resolve to fight is elevated to new levels and he becomes much more hostile to his opponents than he would otherwise. Just as they use food against him, Choji's teammates use this personality trait against him as well. Should Choji be reluctant to fight, one of them need only comment on his size to spur him into combat form. As an Akimichi, Choji's style of combat focuses on increasing his size. At the series' start he uses Multi-Size Technique to serve this purpose, reshaping him into a large, round form.
Birthday: October 30 Soi is a Seiryuu Celestial Warrior. She was rescued by Nakago when she was a child and is his most devoted follower. The true name is Kaen Haku, born under the Star Room. As a Celestial Warrior, Soi possesses Feng Shui related powers allowing her to control lightning, induce electromagnetic fields, but is also skilled in Fhangzang and chi raising techniques. She is 19 years old and was born in Gen, a province near the Kuto border. Because her family was so poor, Soi was sold when still a child to a brothel and grew up there. When she was twelve, Nakago rescued her and she fell in love with him. While aware that her love was unrequited and he was only using her to recover and heighten his chi, Soi nevertheless continues to serve him faithfully and to the full extent of her abilities. Soi normally appears as a formidable armoured fighter who speaks like a man, concealing a kind heart and feminine nature. Despite being enemies with Suzaku, she actually shows sympathy towards Miaka Yuuki, particularly out of jealousy towards Yui, and Tamahome, going so far as to state that she envies the strength of their love and revealing to Miaka that she wasn't actually assualted by Nakago (if she had been, she would have killed Miaka). Like Tomo, she has no desire to harm Miaka, but will do anything for the sake of Nakago. She is killed by Tasuki in a battle between Konan and Kuto in an attempt to save Nakago; she puts herself between Nakago and Tasuki's sword. Nakago then carries her dead body until he passes from the world of the book into the Real World. In the manga, she is seen again by Nakago in "paradise," alongside his mother when he dies.
A 1st year and another new member of the Magic Club. Akane is a spoiled rich girl who often misses going to club meetings in order to go on dates with boyfriends. She seems to be a natural at using magic, and it comes very easily to her (such is her inant skill that she is able to make makeshift wands out of rudimentary objects, though they are rather primative and weak compared to her regular wand), though it can't be said the same for her flying. Akane often uses magic for selfish reasons against what Takakura has taught, which causes Sae to lecture her in several instances. In a cute touch, anything affected soley by her magic spins before the spell's true effect come to pass, something which she has no control over. In the TV series, Akane works as a model and appears in clothing advertisements throughout the city. Her mother is a famous actress.
A 2nd year and a friend of Sae since childhood. She just wants to be a normal high school girl and gets frustrated with Sae's obsession with the Magic Club, although she is proficient in magic herself. Nanaka has a crush on Aburatsubo but is afraid to admit her feelings because she knows they won't be returned. She self described her family as "all over the place", and though she is often embarressed and aggrivated by their respective antics, she loves them dearly.

Tsuburaya Mitsuhiko was a student in Teitan Elementary when Shinichi was enlisted into his class after he had been shrunk by the drug APTX 4869. Shortly afterwards, his classmates Ayumi and Genta had the idea of investigating an apparently haunted mansion, and they persuaded Conan to come along. When Mitsuhiko espressed his scepticism about supernatural hauntings, Genta forcefully 'persuaded' him to tag along as well. As it turned out, the haunting served as a cover-up for an old homicide case. Following its resolution, the foursome decided to stay together and form the nucleus of what would become the Detective Boys. It is later revealed that Mitsuhiko's parents are both teachers, and he has an older sister, Tsuburaya Asami, about ten years his senior. Mitsuhiko enjoys reading science books and takes a scientific approach to problem-solving. He is a smart and well-read first-grader who believes that technology can solve most problems. Due to his strict and formal upbringing, he tends to be very formal towards his elders, addressing them with the formal suffix "-san" without regard to the intimacy of their relationship. Mitsuhiko has a dislike for carrots, and will always eat them last (if ever) if he can help it.
