Birthday: November 9 Temperamental and fastidious, Hikari Kuroda is a student in year one of class three, recognizable by her signature squid rings hairstyle. She initially believes that Makoto and Sekai are dating from the very start, and tends to negatively generalize him; later growing closer to him herself. Though she is actually quite friendly and social, Hikari is the most childish of the cast; sporting an unduly knack for whining and prying into the affairs of others. Her family owns a confectionery store and café, famous for its lemon custard pie. Hikari is good friends with Sekai and has an unreciprocated crush on Taisuke Sawanaga.

Juli Mizrahi, the ex-wife of Joachim Mizrahi, founder of U-TEC, is the head of S.O.C.E., and the co-creator, along with her ex-husband, of MOMO, who was modeled after their late daughter Sakura Mizrahi. Working along side the Galactic Federation, she is working to keep U-TIC from obtaining MOMO, mostly because within the little Realian's data bank is the Y-Data, which may supply the location of the original Zohar – and possibly the source of U-DO, which caused the Miltain Conflict years before. The school art teacher and an old friend of Itoko, who was her junior during their college years. On several occasions, it is hinted that she and Itoko are more than just friends, although this has never been confirmed outright. It has also been hinted that she is a lesbian and has always been trying to get closer to Itoko during their high school years. She seems to know (and share) an important part of Itoko's past, and though not deliberately, has used this against Itoko to gain favours or company a few times. She has very good driving skills.
