Mashyuu first appears when the gang decides to go a foreign island and she acts as a guide for Naomi to a village she was born in, although not raised in. With a slim body, flat chest and short hair, Mashyuu pretended to be a boy as she states that was the only way to keep her job. After the investigation on the island was solved, if she had stayed on the island after her pretending to be male was out by the village chief, she would have been stoned, as her village did not tolerate girls pretending to be boys. Instead, she came to live with the group as Naomi's spouse pretending to be the husband.

Kiri Haimura is a middle school boy who possesses a "Killing Good" inherited from his ancestor, which is a pair of scissors that are extremely sharp, and are the only things that can cut Iwai's hair. His ancestor was a murderer, who would bring people into his basement, and then cut them up with a pair of scissors. He has a hair cutting fetish, which goes hand in hand with Iwai's predicament. He holds Iwai dear, and will do anything to protect her. Once Kiri sees his author in his dreams (in his case, it is Grayland), he gets the ability called 'Pain Augmentation' which means that he takes a pleasure in inflicting deep wounds. The wounds he causes cause extreme pain regardless of how shallow the wound. The first time he fights with his ability is vs Emily, which leaves her in a total mess.
