Mashyuu first appears when the gang decides to go a foreign island and she acts as a guide for Naomi to a village she was born in, although not raised in. With a slim body, flat chest and short hair, Mashyuu pretended to be a boy as she states that was the only way to keep her job. After the investigation on the island was solved, if she had stayed on the island after her pretending to be male was out by the village chief, she would have been stoned, as her village did not tolerate girls pretending to be boys.
