His sword is a "Saratiga" which is a straight katana while as a Kuroma his dark art is the "Black Gehenna" that he infuses into his sword to maximize its destructive capability called the "Yin Yang Kurikara." His other abilities include the "Ouroboros," which is a water spell that allows him to flood vast areas and to walk on water, as well as the "Gorikitsu," which allows him to maximize his plana. It was later revealed that the "Ancient Dragon" is actually a metaphysical that is cursed to follow him throughout his existence from the time of their first encounter, through his first reincarnation as Shu Saura up to the present. Her hellish assassination training allows her combat ability to be on par with those as powerful as General within the military levels of the Empire. Her Teigu, One Cut Killer: Murasame, is a katana known for being coated in an immensely deadly poison that can kill those cut by it within seconds. Akame's cold-hearted and serious demeanor stems from her hellish training the Empire forced on her and her sister after being sold by their parents. Akame became one of the elite 7 imperial assassins. Having been brain-washed to believe the rebel opposition was responsible for the unrest and misery in the kingdon along with the motivation to rise in the ranks in order to see her sister. Akame infitrated, uncovered and slayed revolution members including friends who had kept a cover. After being tasked one mission to assassinate former general Najenda, she is convinced by the general to not only spare her, but also to instead join her crusade against the Empire by becoming a member of Night Raid.
