Takashi is a very loving and hard-working man. Even though his market and functionary named Samejima go through financial problems, he still manages to function as a normal father. Since he's not as serious as his wife or his children, he's more expressive and involved with his kids' lives. He's also not as smart as Shizuku, but he is able to pick up on little signs in his daughter. Because Yoshino has called him useless and a fool so many times, he jokingly accepts that he is useless and foolish. Also known as 'Komachi-sensei' and 'Magical Teacher Komachi'. She is a strange teacher with a hidden agenda, a long name, and large breasts. She only appears in episode 5.
Punie's "mascot" and constant companion, Paya-Tan is a dog-like animal with a unicorn's horn that is personified as having two distinct personalities and faces. While assisting Punie he acts cute with a high voice and silly talk, but when they first met he acted harshly towards her and responded to her attempts to make him her mascot with violence. He may still wish to betray her, despite helping her on various occasions. When not with Punie, he may reveal his more adult face and deeper voice - and smoke a cigarette. One of Punie's two little sisters who sneak to Japan in order to assassinate her. They possess the "Ring of Immortal", a magical heirloom which they use in order to summon a spirit to destroy Punie. They activate this artifact with the incantation "Lyrical Tokarev, Destroy All Evil". Whether or not this is their own personal incantation or the activation incantation for the Ring of Immoral is left to conjecture. When executing combination attacks, they preface their attack names with "Gemini" such as the "Gemini Knee Drop" and the "Gemini Low Kick".
Punie's Mother and queen of Magical Land. She was responsible for the coup which eliminated the previous rulers and gave herself political power. Her incantation, as revealed in the anime OAV's fourth omake, is "Lyrical Tokarev, Nobody, No Cry".
A girl wanted as a suspect for Dr. Heinz Schneider's murder. She heads south in order to seek the truth of the incident, as well as to find her birthplace; based on the vague memories she holds and an old fortune teller's advice. Ellis has "Witch DNA," but her abilities are accidental and incomplete. These include superhuman strength, temporary levitation, and heating as well as freezing of physical objects. She cannot control her abilities at will, usually becoming active only in times of need. She speaks whatever is on her mind in an almost expressionless way of talking, she could almost be classified as a comic relief character because of some of the things she does. Throughout the series Ellis falls in love with Nadie and is quite open about her feelings towards her. It is revealed that Ellis did not kill Dr. Heinz Schneider and that she had a father-daughter like relationship with the doctor.
