She later reveals that she was helped by a guy in a mascot costume (also Raku) who treats her to ice cream. Later, she nurtures some feelings of love for Raku, but she later backs off, since she finds out that her sister, Kosaki, also has feelings for him. Instead, she decides to support her sister, despite her strong feelings for him.

Ranma's friend

Nodoka is Ranma's loving mother. She hasn't seen him and Genma in over a decade though, when they left on their training trip. Stating that a doting mother would hinder Ranma's training, Genma made a contract with her to raise Ranma as "man amongst men", and if he failed, he and Ranma were to commit seppuku.
