A member of the Edan of the East group, Haruo is not a very important character in the series, but plays a semi-important role in Higashi no Eden: Gekijouban I The King of Eden and Higashi No Eden: Gekijouban II Paradise Lost. Haruo is good at computers just like the other members of Edan of the East.
Maeda Noboru, age sixteen, nicknamed Suppon (Turtle). He has been detained for theft, con, dine-and-ditch, and many other crimes which could not be fully investigated during his detention. Maeda is one of the seven protagonists in RAINBOW. He is the smallest guy in the group and the most cunning in the team. Other than An-chan, he seems to get along with Jou best, most probably because of them being same aged and both being orphans.
Hattori is a ninja working under Ieyasu Tokugawa. She is first seen in Season 1, Episode 7. In episode 7, Hattori attempts to ruin Hideyoshi's play as ordered by Ieyasu by secretly changing out Nobunaga's script. However, after thinking that it wasn't enough, she then decides to act on her own accord and set the curtain on fire. She is the one who gave the nicknames to each of the girls in the basketball club, except for Tomoka, whose nickname was chosen by Subaru himself. Cruel and heartless, his specialty is making use of his speed to attack, and might even boast more talent as a ninja than Saizo. He's after the Kushi-mitama that Isanami holds, so that he might seize its great power for himself.
