The former holder of the title "Number Two," Afro is out to hunt down Justice, the man who killed his father for the rank of "Number One." From the time he was a child, Afro honed his skills as a swordsman; his style typically consists of wielding his sword with only his right hand while his left continues to hold on to his sheath, although during his fight with Jinno, he held his sword with both hands to compensate for Jinno's dual wielding speed. He is a very quiet individual, likely because the life of the "Number Two" does not allow him to have any close relationships with anyone, so when approached by others he says very little, if anything. Although he seems cold, he is still haunted by his memories and past relationships; Justice later remarks that Afro, like his father, is still "soft inside." He also has a fondness for lemonade. The only times Afro had shown any extreme emotional reactions were when he fought the Sword Master for the Number Two Headband, and when fighting Justice who reminds Afro of his father's tragic death. At the end of the series, he kills Justice and becomes the "Number One", but is almost impaled by one of Justice's spikes only to survive by having the spike go through his afro and skim that top of his head, thus saving Afro from death. After the 'death' of Ninja Ninja, Afro seemed to be able to show himself more emotionally, as seen when he sheds tears for 'killing' Jinno before facing Justice, and also by his casual conversation with Jinno before facing him for the second time.
Senna is a young girl with purple hair and a red ribbon tied to it. She has large, orange eyes and is usually seen in a brown school uniform. When she transforms into a Shinigami, Senna wears the standard unseated shinigami uniform with a large, red ribbon tied around her waist. Senna likes the color red and high places. She's also very curious, constantly darting from place to place. Although she is haunted by brief, randomly-appearing memories of "her" past, Senna generally exibits a spunky, upbeat, and carefree personality. As stated by Ichigo, Senna is additionally strong-willed, stubborn, loyal, and somewhat outspoken. Near the end of the movie, when Senna is about to sacrifice herself and Ichigo attempts to stop her, she states that she'd rather sacrifice herself than see Ichigo die, implying that she may have developed romantic feelings towards Ichigo during the time that they spent together. The same might be said for Ichigo, as when he went to a store to buy Senna's trademark red ribbon, the female clerk questioned if it was a "present for his girlfriend", to which he slightly blushed at that query and quickly dismissed it ("not quite" being his reply in the original Japanese version; he insists that she was his "sister" in the English dub). She also went into a brief state of depression when she assumed that Ichigo was killed during his first battle with the film's main villain, Ganryū, after witnessing Ganryū impale Ichigo with his spear. Senna also has Shinigami powers and a Zanpakut. Rukia reveals her Zanpakut was lost 100 years ago in the Severed world. However, it wasn't revealed as to how Senna obtained her Shinigami powers or her Zanpakut. Besides her Zanpakut, and ability to control Blanks, Senna has shown to be skilled in swordsmanship, and an agile fighter and gymnast. Even in her gigai, she is very agile, able to perform several backflips at once. It is implied she is adept in Flash Steps when she falls and seemingly disappears, reappearing behind Ichigo during a tight-rope walking performance at the Karakura Mall, fooling even Ichigo, who is an expert in Flash Steps himself. Zanpakut Mirokumaru (弥勒丸, Maitreya circle) Shikai: Her zanpakut is released by the command "Call forth the Twilight" (夕闇誘, Yūyami ni izanae; "Bring them to the twilight" in the English dub). It takes the form of a Khakkhara when released. Shikai Special Ability: Mirokumaru has the power to create and control tornadoes. After the credits, it shows Ichigo travelling to school when a strong breeze of wind blows a red ribbon to him, upon touching, it seems that Ichigo remembers something. During that time, a loud and energetic girl came running past which resembles Senna and Ichigo smiles and walks away.
He was the third strongest of the Dark Ones, outclassed only by Riyan and their leader. He used Blanks for almost every battle fought.
