A member of Himezawa's clique, the person closest to Himezawa. Is implied to be a good student. Adores Himezawa and seems rather cold and distant to everyone else. Appears to be one of Konno's closer acquaintances. Survives the bus accident, but is deeply scarred by Himezawa's death. Lashes out at Konno out of jealousy and anger at the first opportunity. Reveals to Konno that their so-called friendship was always one-sided on Konno's part and that in reality she hated and despised Konno for having a natural talent at everything she worked herself to exhaustion for, namely beauty (which she neglected due to that same hard work) and studies which she is just not good at - and for seemingly being unfazed by Himezawa's death and wanting to move on, something she just cannot comprehend as Himezawa was the one person she adored and the only person she needed in life. Later realises that despite all those feelings she does want to be friends with Konno. However, after being framed for the murder of Usui, she falls whist running and is presumed dead by the others. Despite her injuries however she managed to survive and is rescued by the helicopter along with the others, later being reunited with them in hospital.

He has almost no memory of his previous life (remembers only his own name), doesn't know how he died, when did it happen, who was his family etc. Usually he's friendly and cheerful, especially around Haram, but when left alone, he tends to drown in his thoughts. Actually, he's not a ghost, but a fragment of memory, and he did not die—his "real" self just wiped off some part of his memory because of a tragic event. That's when Gaon The Ghost was "born" and when the actual Gaon started to have partial amnesia, which changed a bit his personality, too.
