At the beginning of the story it is explained that Puchiko, also known as Capuccino, is Dejiko's five year old sidekick and is a catgirl. Her relationship to Dejiko is not explained in the original series, but Gema states that she is a princess in the Di Gi Charat Movie and it is seen that she lives with Dejiko in the castle in Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat. According to Di Gi Charat Complete 2002, Dejiko saved her by pulling her out of a hole, and so Puchiko followed Dejiko to thank her. Although in Winter Garden, it said that Puchiko is Dejiko's sister and share the same parents. Puchiko is quiet (but when she does speak she has unexpected sharp tongue) and has a Type B personality. She has the ability to use an eye-beam similar to Dejiko's but is often too docile to conjure the aggression required to perform such a feat. This has caused many things to come out of her eyes, including sludge, when she attempts to use it. Puchiko has brown hair and dark brown eyes. Lawrence III is a self-styled collector, appearing as the main antagonist in The Power of One. Many refer to him as explicitly a Pokémon collector, though there is no evidence that he had any Pokémon himself prior to the movie. His Japanese voice actor is Takeshi Kaga, while his English voice actor is Neil Stuart. He travels about in his airship, known as 飛行宮 HikÅ�kyÅ« (literally, "Flying Palace"), which is about the size of a small city, and gathers artifacts from around the world. Despite the scope of his collection, however, he remains rather shortsighted about the world, with his entire plot to capture Lugia reflecting this; his not taking into account the disruption of the natural forces governed by the legendary birds leads to his downfall. Very little is known about his past, with the only concrete information given by him in the movie. The first object in his collection was an Ancient Mew card, and it remains the only thing remaining in his possession at the end of the movie, inspiring him to continue his collection on a more modest scale. Lugia is a dual-type Psychic/Flying legendary Pokémon. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is often considered to be closely related to Ho-Oh, even sometimes as its polar opposite. Silver represents Lugia as "guardian of the seas," and Gold represents Ho-Oh as "guardian of the skies." Lugia (Japanese: ルギア Lugia) is the main character of the movie, The Power of One. Its Japanese voice actor is 山寺å®�一 Koichi Yamadera and its English voice actor is Eric Rath. In the movie, Lawrence III wanted to capture Lugia. In order to accomplish his goal, he set out to enrage and capture the legendary birds. By doing this, Lugia was prophesied to appear to calm them. His plan was then to capture Lugia for his "collection." Although he ended up injuring it, Lawrence III did not succeed in capturing it. With the help of Ash, Lugia was able to stop Lawrence III and calm the birds before the unbalance caused destroyed the world. Lugia was briefly mentioned in The Mystery is History by Ash and James when they encounter Silver for the first time. Whether this makes the movie canon is unknown. Melody is a resident of Shamouti Island in the Orange Islands archipelago. Melody at first glance does not really seem to be a sociable person. She meets Ash, Misty, Tracey and Maren at the docks of the island, dressed in casual clothes. It was her turn to lead the annual legend festival as the Festival Maiden, since her older sister Carol was too old. Melody was not to thrilled to do it, but upon observing Ash and learning he's a Pokémon Trainer, she instantly changes her mind and accepts her role, welcoming Ash with a "traditional welcome kiss", touching a nerve of Misty's. Melody later, dressed in ceremonial clothes, informs Ash of his goal to retrieve three glass balls from the surrounding islands and bring them to the island's shrine. Melody, Misty and Tracey head out of Melody's boat to find Ash when a storm hits the island, Melody's boat capable of "flying" with some special utilities on the boat. They locate Ash on Fire Island with Team Rocket, and all are present to witness the arrival of Zapdos, his conversation with Pikachu, and then their abduction by Lawrence III's airship. Melody begins to suspect the legend of the island might be true, and this is confirmed later on when Lugia appears to stop the fighting legendary birds. Ash sets out using the remains of Melody's boat (which was previously destroyed) to gain the final treasure ball from Ice Island, but later when Lugia and Ash disappear into the sea, Melody allows Misty to go out and find Ash, the two forming a friendship, as Melody had previously joked about Misty and Ash being a couple. Melody and the island shrine's guardian, Slowking await Ash's return. When he does and inserts the final treasure into the shrine, Melody steps up and plays the tune resembling Lugia's song on her ocarina. Carol (Japanese: ヨーデル Yodel) is a character from The Power of One. She is Melody's oldest sister and the head of the festival celebrations on Shamouti Island. Previously, she was the Festival Maiden, who lead the festivities about the Legendary birds and their tamer, Lugia. However, she became too old for the role, and Melody had to reluctantly take over. One of her best friends is Maren, who was forced to dock at Shamouti Island because of a storm. Carol's last appearance was in the credits, waving goodbye to Maren as she left the island. Usada, or Rabi~en~Rose, is revealed to the viewer to be Dejiko's rival. Her nickname may be a play on a number of things. "Rabi~en~Rose" may be a play on the common French saying "La Vie en Rose" which means "life in rose-pink". The Japanese expression "spend a life in rose-pink" means to spend a life without any worries. "Rabi" which resembles the English word "rabbit." replaced "La vie" to form a pun to mean "Rabbit in life without worries," which suggests her personality. Her original name is Hikaru Usada, which resembles Hikaru Utada (best known in the West for her theme songs for the Kingdom Hearts series) but that was officially commented as a mere coincidence since the story and names were decided before Hikaru Utada's debut in Japan. Her "Usada" surname also is a pun, as the "Usa" part is a shortening of the word "usagi", which means "rabbit" in Japanese. In the original anime, she is seen as a normal girl who uses dice to transform into her bunnygirl outfit: a pink, white and red dress with large white rabbit ears and a large round cotton tail. Her parents left her to live on her own in an attempt to help her become an idol. Rabi~en~Rose does not end her sentences with a rabbit sound (typically pyo in anime) and is the only character with kemonomimi animal traits in the Di Gi Charat franchise not to do so. In some of the manga stories, however, it is shown tthat she really just wants to be her friend, and this is hinted at in various ways, often ending in a comedic gesture.
Once, Wilder was just a typical juvenile delinquent pretty-boy who expressed his discontent with the world by founding a motorcycle gang with some of his friends. Then one day, while they were having the sort of anti-authority fun The Man didn't like them having, they got beaten up by a rival gang. Having had the one thing he gave anything in the way of a flying fig about taken away, Wilder decided that the best thing to do would be to take his frustration out on society by joining up with the Destrons (Decepticons). And to his "credit", Wilder didn't do it by half—he has flung himself so deeply into the evil world of the Destrons and embraced it so eagerly, that there may be no coming back. As a Headmaster Junior warrior, Wilder is bonded to a Transtector from the planet Master which takes the form of a winged, bipedal wolf-monster. In becoming a Destron, Wilder believes he has sold his soul, but based on the disinterested ease with which he is able to admit to this, he seems to consider it small change. And the hell with other people—Wilder is only out for Wilder, and the rest of the world can burn as long as he can claim to be powerful. As a Headmaster Junior, he is above humans, and he won't hesitate to beat his once-best friend half to death or kill a dog to prove it.
