She's the cat of Shion. She looks like a regular black cat with light green eyes and an red strip with silver bells around. She has a calm, loving and caring personality, although she usually teases Shion's puppy love. She genuinely cares for Emma because of Echidna and what might happen to her. She really hopes that after the ritual is over, Shion will marry Emma and have a great future together. She helps them with many quests to suppress the magic inside Emma. Anise is also a lady who never comes with pointless questions but with logical ones which she receive respect by other mages.

A stoic girl, her father trained her in hand-to-hand combat. She's a solitary type, and solidarity doesn't come to her easily. She joined the Military Police under the reason that she only wishes "to survive." Annie is a Titan-shifter, and as such, it was revealed that she is the Female Titan who killed most of the Scouting Legion members during their 57th expedition. Annie was part of a group of Titan-shifters that initially aimed to wipe out the humans inhabiting the walls until the revelation of Eren's capability to transform into a Titan forced them to change their plans on capturing him instead. She is also the culprit behind the killings of the two captive Titans that Hanji was researching. As the Female Titan, she had attempted to kidnap Eren on numerous occasions, with the two even engaging in hand-to-hand combat in their Titan forms. She aims to capture Eren with the supposed goal of bringing him "somewhere." When she was suspected by Armin to be the Female Titan, the Scouting Legion had set up a trap to capture and interrogate her, though she was able to see through their plot which resulted in her attempting to escape. Mikasa and Eren manage to stop her from escaping, and when the soldiers tried to bring her out of her Titan form, reminded of her father, she wrapped herself inside a hard crystal thus making the soldiers unable to obtain any information from her. Though she is affiliated with Bertolt and Reiner, she tends to isolate herself from her fellow Titan-shifters. Despite her callousness and brutality in physical combat, she has shown genuine concern and respect towards her past classmates, notably Eren and Armin. Despite her seeming disinterest toward her own combat skills, Eren has deduced that she has a great fondness for it, as evidenced by her showing interest in further teaching him her techniques. Tsukushi Makino is the main female character, and is one of the very few students at the prestigious Eitoku University to come from an "unwealthy" family. Her family is so poor that they can barely afford to pay Makino's tuition, but her parents push her on to continue school because they have a dream that she can "snag a rich man" and take them out of poverty. At the beginning of the manga, Makino was a poor, pig-tailed girl who had almost no friends at school and kept to herself. When one of her only friends falls down a staircase and bumps in the leader of the F4, Makino stands up for her friend (Domyoji was about to hurt her for bumping into him) and suffers the consequences. The next day, a red tag is hanging in her locker, which predicts future torment from the F4 and followers. But, unlike most of the F4's targets, Makino stands up for herself, showing how strong a "weed" can be. In this process, she changes to let her stubborn, hardworking ways show through, and in the end she turns all of the F4 into her friends. At first, Makino hates all of the F4 except Hanazawa Rui, (which she has romantic feelings towards). But, as Rui goes off to chase after Shizuka, Makino gets to know them, and even slowly falls in love with the hotheaded leader, Domyoji.
Anne d'Autriche is the Queen of France. She was born in Madrid, daughter of Philippe III of Spain and Marguerite of Austria. Her marriage with the king Louis XIII is the continuation of a long arrangement aiming to bringing closer France and Spain putting an end to centuries of conflicts. For this reason she is not really in love with her husband. She moreover is hated by Richelieu who never approved of this marriage and who constantly is suspicious, blaming her of espionage. Her feelings belong to the Duke of Buckingham, even if their love can never be shown openly.
Domyouji Tsukasa is the leader of the F4. At the beginning of the series, he is Makino's biggest enemy, but as the story progresses, he becomes her love interest. Tsukasa is the heir to Domyoji Enterprises, and his family is extremely rich. They own various houses around the world, including an actual island, a house in Canada, and a house in New York City where his parents stay. Domyouji grew up somewhat lonely, as his parents were always overseas, and his sister—as loving as she could be—was either busy studying or, later in life, married and moved to Los Angeles. Also, his mother, Kaede, is cold to him, and although she loves him, wants to control his life. Tsukasa sometimes calls her "the old hag" and "witch". Before he met Makino, he was violent and ill-tempered, but after he became loyal and nice. As Tsukasa first started off being hard and tough to get though to; the author of Hana Yori Dango showed us thoughout the anime and manga that anyone who starts off being hard can also find their soft side because of love and that is shown though Tsukasa Domyouji.
