Ranma's friend

Nodoka is Ranma's loving mother. She hasn't seen him and Genma in over a decade though, when they left on their training trip. Stating that a doting mother would hinder Ranma's training, Genma made a contract with her to raise Ranma as "man amongst men", and if he failed, he and Ranma were to commit seppuku. However, because Ranma's curse makes him a woman half the time, they spent most of Nodoka's appearances hiding from her as Ranko Tendo and her pet, Mr. Panda. Nodoka's heart was constantly broken by knowing that she wanted nothing more than to see her son again. Eventually in the manga, she did meet Ranma and Genma and discovers their curses. However, she was more accepting than they expected. Mostly because she eventually began to suspect that Ranma and Ranko were, in fact, the same person. (Wikipedia)

Mrs. Tendo is the mother of Kasumi, Nabiki, and Akane, and the wife of Soun. She passed away many years ago leaving Soun to raise the children. It is never said how she died, but the family still thinks of her lovingly. After Mrs. Tendo's death Kasumi assumed a more motherly role and helped with household duties. (Source: Rumic World)

Touma Kazamatsuri is a glasses wearing bookworm, with short, messy dark hair. She dislikes her hair in the morning, as it is a bad bedhead. She also seems to have a connection with a hair elastic. Touma also has a collection of plushies, which sit on top of her bookshelf at home. She prefers to be by herself alone in a quiet place, preferably the library. She also dislikes P.E class. Although Touma is easily annoyed by Torako's interference and she seems to dislike Torako on the surface, she is actually a good friend of Torako's, and cares for her (though she tries not to show it). She and Torako made a promise of becoming mutual friends, when they made a visit to the Kamizono Academy and met each other by chance. Touma has an older sister which she often fights with.

Outgoing and usually the instigator of the pack, she is identifiable by the fact that she does not wear a blazer over her shirt and tie like most other characters. She likes to achieve her objectives in a straight-forward manner and doesn't really seem to mind other people's circumstances. Because she was absent during the first few days of school, she was unwittingly assigned as a member of the discipline committee. She has an older brother Kitsune, whom she apparently holds in very low regard, and an older sister Oniyuri. As she does not have a very good relationship with her family, she often runs away from her home. Due to this reason, she and Suzume missed the first few days of school as they were very far away from home on the school opening day. She's Suzume's childhood friend. She's 164cm tall and her three sizes are 81-55-82. Her name contains a kanji of tiger (虎, tora?) and the first kanji letter of her name (上) can be pronounced as 'Ue' (West), thus revealing her name's relationship with White Tiger of the West (白虎). Blood Type: AB Birthday: July 19, 1983 Age: 18-22 Favorite Manga: "Let's Go" Rai Junior High, Royalty in Motion Favorite Anime: None Favorite Game: The Game of Life Zodiac Sign: Cancer She is Kousaka's girlfriend. Fashionable, violent, confident, occasional smoker, and not at all attracted by the sexual charms of anime characters, Saki is not an otaku in any sense of the word. She follows Kousaka into Genshiken, and is eventually blackmailed by the first Genshiken chairman into joining the club. Surprisingly, Saki actually saves Genshiken from being shut down on two separate occasions, though her motives have more to do with revenge and guilt than becoming more of an otaku. Despite being vehemently against otaku activities such as wearing nekomimi (cat-ears) at the start of the series, Saki eventually becomes comfortable with the other club members to the point that she can be considered their close friend (aside from the possible exception of Kuchiki). Saki has a tendency to use nicknames. She calls Sasahara "Sasayan", Kugayama "Kugapii", and Ogiue "Ogichin" by nicknames, and even though she at first refuses to call Kuchiki by his self-appointed nickname ("Kucchi"), Saki starts using that nickname as well. In the spin-off series Spotted Flower (unknown if confirmed as canon), she is no longer in relationship with Kousaka. She is now married to Madarame and is pregnant with his child. In spite of this, it is assumed that everyone is still friends and stay in contact with each other. The story revolves around their married lives, especially with the pregnancy and otaku life affecting their sexual intimacy. (Source: Wikipedia)

Age: 19-23 Birthday: October 25, 1982 Zodiac Sign: Scorpio Blood Type: O The second president of Genshiken, Madarame is personally chosen by the first Genshiken president to be his successor, though Madarame shows the most leadership and initiative even before formally appointed as president. He is a Gundam fan and arguably the most hardcore otaku out of all of Genshiken. Madarame buys djinshi without looking at price tags, something that occasionally leaves him with very little spending money on basic necessities such as food (his sushi of choice is bacon sushi topped with mayonnaise, cheap at 50 yen a piece). Madarame takes pride in everything that he purchases. The Official Genshiken Data Book's otaku quiz section calls the highest level of otaku "Madarame." Madarame's loud and adamant support of his own otaku lifestyle initially makes him Saki's nemesis in Genshiken, but as Madarame develops a crush on Saki it heavily influences his interactions with her. However, even after graduating and getting job at Sakura Pipe Repair thanks to his "computer literacy" (i.e. experience with porn games) Madarame never admits his feelings to Saki as he does not want to risk ruining their friendship. In the relaunch of the manga, Madarame still drops by the Genshiken clubroom for lunch. In order to help the crossdressing Hato be able to come to the clubroom as a girl while attending classes as a male, Madarame agrees to allow Hato use his apartment to change since it is very close to the school. In the spin-off manga series "Spotted Flower" (unconfirmed if canon), Madarame is finally in a relationship with Saki; they are married (she took his virginity) and Saki is pregnant with their child. Much of the story revolves around their married lives, specifically her pregnancy and his otaku lifestyle affecting their sexual intimacy. (Source: Wikipedia)
