First appearance: Battle 266 Age: Mid-30s Type: Sei Type: Satsujin Ken Yami Symbol: Flame Martial Arts: Muay Thai and Muay Boran Agaard Jum Sai is the Muay Thai Master of Yami's One Shadow Nine Fists and the master of Tirawit Koukin. He is a tall, dark-skinned and incredibly muscular man with tribal tattoos on his face, much like those of his disciple. He has dark red hair and is always wearing a smile like his fellow fist Diego Carlo, as well as having bizarre eyes wih a plus in the middle. His overall physical appearance is similar to Apachai's. Agaard is a battle-loving man who is very willing to risk his life to beat his opponent, though doesn't wish to fight unless the opponent is strong. He is also more laid back than the other Fists that have appeared and has a very terrifying ability; a powerful charismatic aura. He can bring anyone around him under him and easily influence them without any effort, and does it unintentionally. He has also shown to be rather intelligent, as he regularly quizzes his disciple on how an enemy is acting or what they will do during a mission, and is very polite, asking his disciple to be respectful to the weapon's division members even if they were weaker. Agaard's manipulation has had some positive results that contributed to his past bond with Apachai, who only listened to the then junior champion of the ring. The effect has even had mutual results, since Agaard cried at the fact that both he and Apachai were walking the same path, and would one day have to kill each other. Agaard has also been shown to genuinely care for Apachai, as he thanks Kenichi for being Apachai's disciple, furthering both master and disciple into the martial arts world. Upon falling from Apachai's attacks, Agaard recognizes the Katsujin Ken as equal to the Satsujin Ken, and even congratulates Apachai on being able to perfect his Muay Thai through being able to hold back. His disciple Koukin has shown that he is terrified of his master, hinting to a darker side to the Demon Emperor. For what reason Tirawit is terrified of Agaard is unknown, though it is connected to Agaard's power and release of Ki. Agaard himself has only seen Koukin when he was calm up until his disciple's Dou-esque rage against Kenichi, indicating that Koukin may have recognized his master's power immediately and wisely chose not to do anything that might anger him. In spite of his terrifying Ki, he is not without honor, as he admitted defeat at the hands of Apachai and willingly let him choose what to do with him afterwards. Since meeting Kenichi, Agaard has taken a liking toward him, stating to Apachai that his disciple is something else. His respect toward Kenichi has grown to the point of even instructing him on fighting the Bantou Master to save his life. As with Koukin, Agaard does care for his disciple, as shown when he did not scold him for his loss at the hands of Kenichi and said his fight with him was magnificent. As a teenager, Agaard sees a child Apachai's extreme abilities at Muay Thai in an underground Muay Thai ring in Thailand and buys him off of the crime boss who had difficulty controlling him. He easily wins Apachai's trust by promising the Muay Thai prodigy with large amounts of food. Years later, both Agaard and Apachai promise to push themselves to the top of the Muay Thai ring and are both shown in their peaceful days of training after their master died. When Agaard reaches the finals of his match, he holds his own for a while before throwing the match in order to keep Apachai, who would be sent to another gym if Agaard won the match, at his gym. Agaard is shown to later have used a killing move that took effect late on his opponent, as the opponent dies shortly after touching the belt. Around this time, Agaard leaves his gym and heads off on his own path, joining Yami sometime after and killing the members of Muay Thai gym after gym, eventually confronting Apachai. He ends his battle with Apachai casually because the latter stopped training in order to keep his strength in check. Later, Agaard attacks the headquarters of Underground Muay Thai and kills several of its members and the top three masters of Muay Boran.
First appearance: Battle 173 Age: 30 Type: Dou Type: Katsujin Ken Martial Arts: Boxing and Underground Boxing James Shiba was a former champion boxer famous in the underworld nicknamed "The God of Destruction". James' right leg was crippled and right eye lost in a fight with Fuurinji Saiga, the One Shadow of Yami. Since then he became a hermit, living under a bridge in a shack containing a boxing gym, coming out only to play Pachinko. Takeda's reaction implies that he is one of the few Master-class Boxers in the world. Shiba is a tall and lean and muscular man with pale hair parted on the sides and shaved halfway down the middle and a long pointed out mustache which, like Akisame, takes great pride in and is usually pointing upwards. He wears dark pants with knee guards on his knees and dark boots with a ripped sleeveless vest. He has a type of joints inside his right leg and an eye patch over his right eye due to his injuries from Saiga in the past. He's sometimes seen smoking a cigarette. James is comically shown to be rather dishonorable and arrogant, to the point where Akisame mentions that "even Yami would not accept him for his arrogance" (though his opinion is arguably biased due to a mustache grudge he carries against James). Such is seen in the disciple race between him and Akisame, during which he flicks a Pachinko ball at Kenichi's head and causes him to fall over, taking advantage of this to give Takeda the lead. The other example is his refusal to cut off his own mustache despite the bet, by exploiting the wording of the bet and shaving only a few hairs off and then escaped by jumping onto the nearby bullet train. James is also not above taking advantage of Takeda, having him fight in betting matches in order to supplement his own income and becomes quite wealthy because of it. James also keeps various pets and names his moves after them, such as the Giant Cat Eye Frog Punch, named after a frog with cat eyes. He apparently hates being called "Sensei" as he punches Takeda as soon as he calls him "Sensei". During Takeda's fight with Kenichi, James is shown to care about Takeda by forfeiting the match claiming that it is foolish to break his source of money and forgetting the bet of cutting off his mustache if he lost (comically in a seppuku style), which he blatantly and arrogantly refused after being reminded of it. Like Takeda, James's best punch is left straight, the knowledge of which helps form a bond between the disciple and master. James' mustache and beard also indicate his mood: when they point downward, he is in a neutral or bad mood; when they point upward, he is excited. He also made Takeda wear restraints that exercised his boxing muscles, making his training methods similar to Akisame's due to how hellish it is. A young James Shiba believed that boxing was the strongest martial art, and participated frequently in underground bouts. Though he manages to make a name for himself quickly and conveniently, everything crashes around him when he loses in a fight with Fuurinji Saiga, supposedly making him die as a martial artist and laying him to waste for several years.

Triela has a sarcastic wit and prefers to wear masculine clothing. She serves as a sort of mentor/Mother to the other girls of the SWA and she retains the most realistic outlook on their situation. Triela's preferred weapons are the SIG-Sauer P230 SL pistol (after losing her P230 to Pinocchio, she is given a 232-SL as a replacement) and the M1897 Trench Shotgun with bayonet attachment. She has also been shown using a selection of Heckler & Koch weaponry, including the H&K G3A3 battle rifle, the H&K P7M8 pistol, H&K UMP submachine gun and H&K MP7 PDW. She was former victim of a Mafia child smuggling group based in Amsterdam, Triela was one among many who regularly suffered abuse in the form of drugs, torture, rape and mutilation for the making of "snuff" films. She was rescued by a pair of Europol detectives, one of whom was her future handler, Hilshire. After being mortally wounded in a gunfight, Hilshire's partner bravely used the last of her strength to perform CPR on Triela, enabling Hilshire to save the child's life. During the assault on the nuclear plant, Triela is severely wounded but manages to hold off several soldiers allowing Rico and Henrietta to advance further into the plant. Hilshire comes to her aid after Rico informs him that Triela had been injured. The two are last seen having died in each other’s arms presumably after being overrun by enemy soldiers. Their bodies are later found by Marco. (Source: Gunslinger Girl Wikia)
