After escaping from Kennedy Space Center, Karaba's flagship, the Audhumla reached New Hong Kong for supplies. It was in this place where she meets AEUG pilot Kamille Bidan, and not knowing that he was an enemy, she feels bonded to him, since he is the first person who ever regarded Four as a person in her own right and not as a girl without memories who is bound to become a living weapon. It is only after the truth regarding Kamille is revealed to Four that she choose to pilot the giant Psyco Gundam and attack both Kamille and the city; her desire of getting her memories back and become a full-fledged person are more important than anything. Kamille desperately tries to calm her down and make her join the AEUG, to no real avail. After the battle, Four helped Kamille and his Gundam Mark II back out into space. During this events the Psyco Gundam is severely damaged and Four is presumable killed in an explosion. However, it was later revealed that Four and the Psyco Gundam survived and were taken to the Titans' Kilimanjaro base in Africa. Once there, the Psyco Gundam was repaired and equipped with an experimental new "psyco-control chair", further enhancing Four's abilities to control the Psyco Gundam. Furthermore, Four was forced once again to undergo medical experiments in order to increase her powers, almost losing her memories of Kamille. At the beginning of November, U.C. 0087, the AEUG and Karaba launched an attack on the Titans base at Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. Led by Amuro Ray, they were also supported by Kamille Bidan and Quattro Bajeena. It was then that Kamille discovers that Four was still alive. Four finally remembers Kamille when he infiltrates the Titans base to save her. Four was glad to see him, but the backlash coming from her treatment as well as her own mental instability were a huge hindrance. In the end, Four was forced once again to fight against Kamille in the Psyco Gundam, but eventually sacrificed herself to save Kamille from Jerid Messa.

Also know as the "Meister of Tragedy" Mai was an extremely gifted Otome a few years prior to the show that mysteriously disappeared one day in the Sprites Forest. Before she disappeared she had been offered the position of being #4 of the Five Pillars, but it was said she had fallen in love with a young noble and was torn between the two dreams. She was Natsuki's rival from her days as a student and is Zipang's Tokiha Takumi's older sister. She finally appears to Arika at the end of episode 22 and is living with the Cat Goddess, Mikoto, in the Black Valley. The valley is part of the Sprites Forest and actually exists in another dimension, though it frequently crosses over with her home world. It is later discovered that she never was actually torn between love and being an Otome, and had simply gotten lost while taking a walk and ended up in the Spirtes Forest. In the forest she is accidentally captured by one of Mikoto's food traps, and Mikoto accidentally swallows one of her Meister GEMs, making Mikoto her master. In Mai-Otome Zwei, she still lives with Mikoto in the Black Valley, now called Mt. Nekogami, and has opened a Ramen shop in the newly formed town at the base of the mountain. Hayato is one of Amuro's best friend in Side 7. He joins the White Base crew to prove that he has much use as anyone else. He teams up with Ryu in the Guntank and they both make a good team at taking out Zeon Mobile Suits. After the One Year War, Hayato marries Fraw and adopts Katz, Letz, and Kikka. He becomes the leader of a resistance group called the Karaba on Earth and they associate themselves with the AEUG. He uses old technology from an old Flight museum he has for his attacks against the Titans.

First appearance: Battle 6 Type: Dou/Sei Type: Katsujin Ken Martial Arts: Knowing him, probably everything (explained by his ability to copy all of the enemy's moves easily) Hayato is Miu's grandfather and the undefeated elder of the Ry�zanpaku Dojo, who is said to have beaten 500 Shaolin masters to near death. He is also known as the "Invincible Super Man". His kicks have speeds that are still a blur even when viewing a replay of it at 1/1000 of the normal speed. If necessary, he is able to intimidate the other masters in order to maintain peace. Even using just 0.0002% of his power, he can easily overwhelm both Kenichi and Miu at the same time and rip a tree in half. He was able to defeat a master level opponent in D of D tournament with just one finger. Prior to building the dojo, he and his granddaughter had traveled around the world in his quest for peace. He has 108 special techniques so far and can copy any move an opponent uses against him, like Kenichi's "Saikyou (Strongest) Combo" and "Saikyou Combo 2," Soutenshu and Miu's "Hy�i Kazekirihane." He knows Seikūken and is the creator of "Ryūsui (flowing water) Seikūken" which Kenichi learned from him. However, his most used technique seems to be the "Human Shuriken." One move that has been shown in the manga is "the Shockwave of Forgetfulness" a move which erases ones' memory. He seems to be able to decide how much is forgotten, as in the flash back to meeting Apachai the thug leader experienced total amnesia while Kenichi only lost his short term memory. His training methods are the most frightening of all the masters at Ry�zanpaku, as bad omens like the splitting of tea bowls, pots and chopsticks were common at Ry�zanpaku while Kenichi was in the mountains training with him. Hayato is rather fond of Kenichi calling him "Ken-chan" and is the only master who apologizes to Kenichi for the hellish training that him and the other masters put him through. He later comments that Kenichi reminds him of himself when he was young. Though Hayato appears to have unmatchable power, Miu tells Kenichi that he had trouble fighting Silcardo Jenazard before. He and Kushinada know each other from the past. Despite being the eldest and most powerful of the dojo, Hayato has proven to be rather irresponsible at times. He tends to recklessly spend the dojo's money on personal items and gets carried away whenever he has an opportunity to showcase his strength. Sometimes he's seen eating candy, especially lollipops. Also he mentions that he is getting weaker. After he used .0002% against Miu and Kenichi he told them that he needed a rest after using that much power. In Battle 231 he can use bi-vocal skill that can allows him to use two voices to speak. One time he used it for a duet at a karaoke bar apparently. Hayato can also use the left and right side of his body to perform separate actions and movements. In Battle 233 he is shown capable of reducing his voice to a degree where only one individual can hear his voice. With these abilities many, if not everyone, believe he is not human.

However Himawari's rescue from being run over by a train had changed his mind. Hayato is one of several anime male leads (i.e. Rock of Black Lagoon) who doesn't fit in with the surroundings but manages to find a way to survive. For Hayato; it's his luck, his ducking ability when confronted with someone more skilled than him, and some of his students taking a shine to him.
