Yusuke is an electrician who once attended Tomoya's high school and lived as a rock musician. He is admired by Mei for his infrequent rock play. Tomoya first met Yusuke during a street light accident involving a person's car, and assists Yusuke in his work. Through Yusuke, he realizes the pain of working in society. Yusuke is engaged to Kouko, and is also one of the reasons why Fuko exists in the school. Clannad After-Story: He plays a more prominent role in After Story, giving Tomoya a job as an assistant electrician in his company, and sometimes gives him advice. Due to Tomoya's interest in him, Yusuke tells him of his past - how he became a rock musician, rose in fame, and ended due to his loss of his original motivation, along with stress and drugs. After being rehabilitated, no one wanted him anymore, except for Kouko, who had encouraged him to become a rock musician during his high school days. Throwing away his past, he now works as an electrician. Realizing that there are people who still love his music through Tomoya, Yusuke decides to create another music CD that sings his love for the city.

Section 2 Division 2 Team 1: The giant from Okinawa. He is soft-spoken and kind-hearted. He wanted to join his father as a fisherman but easily gets seasick. He later joined the police force and eventually made it over to SV.2. Yamazaki's too large to fit in a labor's cockpit, so he is designated as the carrier driver for Unit 1. When not on duty he tends to SV.2's vegetable garden where his green fingers can be seen. He's extremely strong, as demonstrated in Movie 1 and 2 where Yamazaki mans the massive anti-labor rifle borrowed from the Narashino Parachute Labor team (apparently an M82 anti-material rifle). Kanata is amongst the most popular boys in his school, especially among the girls, due to his good looks. Shortly after Miyu arrives at his home, Kanata's father declares that he wishes to leave on a year long trip to India for enlightenment, thus binding him and Miyu to living together in the same house. Miyu starts attending Kanata's school and they have difficulty keeping their secret about living together. He finds out from Miyu's mother that they were both childhood friends and starts to like her more and more as the story progresses (but still teases her to mask it). His mother, a good friend of Miyu's mother, died while he was young. Kanata's favorite food is pumpkin, and likes all its variants, from squash to the chips varieties. He plays the class clown in order to mask his insecurities. Junpei's chosen weapon is two-handed sword which he wields like a baseball bat. His Personas excel at physical attacks and party buffs, and can also cast weak fire magic. Junpei joins SEES near the beginning of the game. He was found crying in a convenience store during the Dark Hour, and did not realize that he had the potential to call a Persona until Akihiko told him about it. His decision to join SEES was a swift one, and he immediately moved into their dorm, to Yukari’s dismay. Initially, Junpei fights because playing hero makes him feel like less of a loser. They fall for each other, and though she continues to fight SEES, eventually her loyalty to Takaya and fear of death conflict with her feelings for Junpei. When Takaya fatally attacks Junpei, Chidori sacrifices her life to save his and gives him some of her regenerative power. After her death Junpei becomes a focused and determined young man. In Persona 3: FES, it is revealed that he once met Koromaru when he had run away from home -- specifically, his alcoholic father. Character designer Shigenori Soejima has stated that Junpei is "the most important character when it comes to getting the player to buy into the story," because of all the major characters, he is one who looks and acts the most like a normal teenager. Junpei also makes a brief apperance in Persona: Trinity Soul, as he is seen at the police station.
