Vine is a Jaeger and a subordinate of Bel Peol. Depicted as a motorcycle-rider, with only his eyes visible due to his bodysuit clothing. He brought the Gordian Knot, which can activate a large-scale destructive Power of Unrestraint, to the Tendoukyuu (Palace of Heaven's Road) to stop the exaltation of the new Enpatsu Shakugan no Uchite (i.e. Shana).

Zoey is a Pokémon Co-ordinator from Sinnoh. Eager to start out, she enjoys getting ready for the contests. Zoey is a very confident Pokémon Coordinator and is eager to help out other coordinators if she feels that they need it. However despite this, if necessary, she will trounce them in the Contests. Ash and friends first met Lyra when her Marill wandered off and they found it wedged in a wall. She introduced herself as a Trainer from Johto. She came to Sinnoh with her friend, Khoury and his father in order to observe the Pokémon native to the region. Later she asks Dawn to participate in the Johto Festival. The two girls had a battle but Lyra lost and rewarded Dawn with an egg. At the end of the episode, Lyra and Khoury join Ash's group because the former wanted to watch the upcoming Lilypad Contest Dawn would be participating in. It is implied in Gone With the Windworks! that Lyra has an interest in Ash. She admires his bravery and wishes that Khoury would act more like him. Lyra even asks Dawn if she and Ash are a couple though Dawn quickly denies it. In A Rivalry to Gible On!, she attempted to pair Khoury and Dawn together as a couple before eventually realizing she had feelings for the former. In Bagged Then Tagged!, she and Khoury had a tag battle against Ash and Dawn in the Lilypad Colosseum. Both Lyra and Khoury eventually lost the battle. Later they headed back to Johto with Khoury's father. Lyra plans on challenging Whitney and Morty. Also, upon her request, Khoury decided to become her traveling buddy. They promised Ash and Dawn that they would see them again.

She is a person who is willing to do anything to capture Pokémon for her clients even if it means injuring people or Pokémon, easily revealing her to be ruthless, relentless, and cruel. In fact, in her debut episode, she sacrificed some of her henchmen to Officer Jenny without hesitation or remorse, emphasizing her sociopathic and callous nature. J appeared again in DP150, where she was hired by Team Galactic to catch Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf. She also appeared in DP151, attempting to carry out the task of capturing them. Although she did succeed in capturing the Lake guardians, her ship was hit by two Future Sight attacks used by Uxie and Mesprit after she handed them over to Saturn. As a result, her ship crashed into Lake Valor and was sucked into a whirlpool while she and her crew members were on board. Once the ship was underwater, the protective glass broke and the ship was flooded with water, causing it to explode. It is currently unknown if J or any of her crew survived. (Source: Bulbapedia)

Rosebay acted as a sort of Pokémon Ranger. Her job was to keep track of all the Pokémon in a forest that Ash and friends happened to be passing through on their way to Oreburgh City. She introduced herself to them and Brock quickly flirted with her before being dragged away by Croagunk. Rosebay invited them along on her hike to look for bird Pokémon. She first took them to a Swablu nest and noticed no Swablu were there. Then she recalled that a lot of bird Pokémon went missing recently. It is soon discovered that Team Rocket set up a giant net in a gorge to trap bird Pokémon. Ash's Starly helps rescues them all, evolving into Staravia and defeating Team Rocket. Rosebay thanked Staravia for its help and told Ash and friends that the Pokémon were safe once more.

She is a Coordinator who entered the Chocovine Contest along with Dawn. Ursula first met Dawn outside the Chocovine Contest Hall after her Gabite got into a confrontation with Pachirisu after Gabite stepped on Pachirisu's Poffin. Ursula offered the Pokémon one of her Poffins but Pachirisu refused it, making her feel a little insulted. It was revealed that she had also entered the Wallace Cup but lost in the first round. She said that she had lost many times in the first round, and as such could improve herself to be a better Coordinator and also mentioned that she had won 3 ribbons. She believed Dawn's win in the tournament was a fluke and developed a rivalry with her. Throughout the Contest, she remained cynical of Dawn's performance. She managed to make it to the finals, along with Dawn, defeating Jessie and Carnivine in the process. She ultimately lost to Dawn, but she thought it was only the time limit that saved her. She reappeared in DP161 and DP162 for the Contest in Asatsuki Town, where it was shown that she had obtained several new Pokémon. In spite of her arrogant personality, she treats her Pokémon very well, even comforting them after a defeat.

Aaron was briefly mentioned by Lucian in An Elite Meet and Greet. However, Aaron made his actual debut appearance in A Trainer and Child Reunion! where he was shown to be preparing for his championship battle against Cynthia. Finding out that Ash and his friends know Cynthia personally, he took them to his training center. He also reveals that a Wurmple was his first ever Pokémon and friend when he was young but due to his anger at it for losing a match, he abandoned it. He regretted it later and from then on tried his best to train hard and to understand Bug-type Pokémon so that the same incident would not happen again. He eventually encounters it again as a Beautifly at the end of the episode, following a battle against Team Rocket. He was seen again on television, one episode later, having his battle with Cynthia. It was also shown that he had lost the match.
