Birthday: October 17 Blood type: A Nobue is the eldest main character. She is Chika's older sister and usually has final authority on all matters. She often tries to "borrow" money from Chika to buy cigarettes. Nobue is perpetually searching for a part-time job to earn money for more cigarettes to calm her nicotine addiction. The story suggests that Nobue derives some kind of sensual pleasure from watching the girls do cute things. In this respect, Nobue appears to appreciate the moe aesthetic. It is seen during the anime that Nobue prefers Matsuri and Ana over Chika and Miu. The Nobue character changed from the manga to the anime. In the manga, she is a sixteen-year-old high school freshman, while in the anime she is a twenty-year-old junior-college student. Her age is presumably changed because of her smoking and drinking habit, both becoming legal in Japan at age twenty. Although in the first episode of the anime she introduces herself as a sixteen-year-old, this was intended to be a joke as she quickly stated that she was twenty. She tends to act somewhat less mature in her manga incarnation, doing things such as tricking Matsuri into thinking that Miu is dead. Her appearance changes radically in the early stages of the manga, especially her hair, which goes from blond to dark brown (and is black in the anime).

She and Goku meet as children, and Goku promises to marry her thinking marriage is food. Several years later, she finds him at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai, and despite confessing that he misunderstood what she had meant, he fulfills his promise and asks her to marry him. As she gets older, she disapproves of Goku's lifestyle, enough to ban Gohan from following in his foot steps, but due to the threats like Vegeta and Freeza, she is forced to let him train under Piccolo and Goku. She relaxes this with Goten by training him herself while Gohan is away for school. She has a wild temper and can react in violent anger over the slightest annoyance which means all of the Z Warriors fear her and try to avoid making her mad. A sweet and bubbly girl transfer student who becomes one of Jiyu's close friends. Just like Jiyu, she is also popular with the boys. She is originally from Russia but really is interested in the Japanese culture. Freesia is over 300 years old. She was frozen in a block of ice after a fight got to out of hand. When global warming started she was unfrozen and was taken to Japan. It turns out that she is the daughter of Yagyu Jubei. When she heard about the lovely eyepatch, she made her own eyepatch (spade) to give her the power to get the lovely eyepatch from Jiyu. She will stop at to make sure she gets that eyepatch and make sure that everyone knows that she is the the true, Yagyu Jubei II
Allenby Beardsley is the Gundam fighter for Neo-Sweden, as well as the only female fighter to make it to the tournament. She pilots the Nobel Gundam. Abandoned as a young child, she was taken in by the Neo-Swedish Space Forces to train. While she was there, she became the victim of a series of cruel military-run experiments to create the perfect Gundam fighter. This was called the Berserker System, which used radio frequencies to turn Allenby into a crazed savage, and raised her fighting abilities by 120%. Later in the story, the technicians behind the Berserker System discontinued its use; however, Wong created a duplicate of the Berserker System and used it against Allenby once again. He kidnapped her and infected her with DG cells. She was also used to pilot the Walter Gundam after being turned into a devil by Wong. His original intentions were to make her the pilot of the Devil Gundam itself, but he was stopped by Rain Mikamura. Allenby and Domon have a lot in common which tends to make Rain really jealous since Allenby seems to get along with Domon in ways Rain can't, but Rain doesn't hold it against Allenby. Domon and Allenby met in an arcade, fighting each other on a virtual fighter machine. They soon learn who each other are, and become close friends throughout the story. Though she doesn't bear a Shuffle crest, the alliance regards her with due respect.
Elisi Linette, better known Fiona (or Fine in the Japanese version) is a girl Van finds in a stasis pod linked to Zeke's. When she first appears, she has no memory of her past or how she came to be placed inside the status pod. She later discovers that she is a Ancient Zoidian, one of the many that used to inhabit Planet Zi. She travels with Van in order to find out more about herself, Zoids, and the mysterious Zoid Eve.

Near the beginning of the series she was engaged to Athrun Zala through an arranged marriage. Though (reporting to the drama CD) the two were in love when they first met, their feelings diminished as time went on and the engagement became more political then ever before. The pink-haired princess enters the series when she is traveling in a civilian vessel for a memorial ceremony on Junius Seven. The ship is mistaken for a ZAFT military aircraft, and is attacked by the Earth Alliance. Lacus is escorted to a lifepod, and escapes safely. Shortly thereafter, Lacus' escape pod is discovered by Kira in the Strike. He brings the pod back to the Archangel. The doors to the life pod open and out hops a small, pink, robotic ball. Following after it is Lacus Clyne herself in a bit of dismay that she was saved by Earth forces. Despite being enemies, the girl is cheery and kind to everyone on the ship as they keep her hostage. ZAFT forces discover the Archangel, and a battle breaks out. Before the Earth Alliance can suffer more loss, Natarle Badgiruel opens a channel to the enemy. It is then revealed to ZAFT that Lacus Clyne, the famous idol, is onboard the Archangel. Kira is distraught and, due to Flay's abusive words, comes direly close to an emotional breakdown; however, Lacus attempts to comfort him. The couple find that they both know Athrun Zala on a personal level, and even that Athrun made Lacus' Haro/Pink-chan (her pink, robotic ball) and Kira's Torii (his flying bird robot). Kira decides to return Lacus to where she belongs with Athrun. Even before meeting Kira, Lacus had an indirect influence on the war. She spread her opinion throughout PLANT by singing a song of peace, her lyrics filled with the hope of harmony between the nations. After encountering the Archangel, she expresses a larger need to achieve peace by aiding Kira many more times, causing Athrun to question his purpose for taking part in the war, and much more. In time, she ends up falling in love with Kira (which is seen much more clearly in Gundam Seed Destiny), and Athrun & her engagement is ended without quarrel.
Mutsumi is the captain of the girls' basketball team, and is a close friend of Moritaka's. She seems to be romantically involved with Takumi Fujiwara of the boys' team.
