* First appearance: Battle 176 * Age: 18 * Type: Sei * Type: Satsujin Ken * Yomi Symbol: King * Martial Art: Pencak Silat Radin Tidat Jihan is a former member of Yomi, the former disciple of Silcardo Jenazad, the older brother of Radin Tidat Lona, and a practitioner of Pencak Silat. Jihan is the Crown Prince of Tidat, a fictional country situated on the Indonesia Archipelago. Jihan is a young handsome dark-skinned man with long wavy black hair tied in the back. He typically wears the clothes of his country of Tidat that rap over his body like a type of cloth and has a decorative sash raped around his upper body and wears royal jewelry to show off his royalty. When fighting Kenichi, he was seen bare footed. Not much of Jihan's past is known except that he grew up in a palace and enjoyed a luxurious life. Since he was the prince, the country's people would always let him win, bowing their heads to him either in respect or in fear. Jihan tried to be fair but his awareness of this enormous distinction of status led to his current royalist personality. Coming from royalty, Jihan acts in an aristocratic manner and particularly despises revolutionists. Claiming 99.9% of the world's population are made up of worthless commoners, he ranks himself, and surprisingly Miu (The Invincible Superman's granddaughter), to be the 0.1% who will achieve royalty and reign over the commoners. Jihan has a lot of followers who are concerned about his safety but doesn't seem to care about anything other than using them to pull attacks or cause distractions in his fight against Kenichi. He sees Kenichi as a revolutionist who is fighting against his own destiny as a commoner. It is interesting to note that his loyalty to his master and the Satsujin Ken cause has precedence over his royalty, as Jihan plans to kill Miu as a Katsujin Ken practitioner instead of preserving her as one of the few who will achieve royalty. His loss at the hands of Kenichi seems to have mellowed him out somewhat, as he's seen to be more caring and less arrogant, as he finally acknowledged Kenichi's skills as a fighter. Though he still has a habit of calling Kenichi a commoner at times, he apologized for his rude behavior saying he shouldn't talk like that even though he said Kenichi is a commoner, prompting Kenichi to notice he had "grown up" a little, but was still the same at the core. He's even developed a sense of humor, going as far as to laugh about how he survived the avalanche and owning three companies of the restaurant he helped work at. Jihan is also immensely prideful, as he refuses the help of outsiders or commoners. It is because of his pride that nearly cost him his life at the hand of his master Jenazad and how he refused help from Kenichi when the latter tried to save his life from the avalanche. His reason is that no matter what, he is a King and does not need any help from anyone. His defeat and having to work for the very man who showed him mercy for the first time in his life helped him lose his prideful and arrogant self into a more caring and respectful man. He's also a man who knows when to repay debts he knows he owes others, such as when he was saved from starvation, he worked at the restaurant that saved him for six months to help them in any way he could and helped there shop become a huge success with several in a chain of work. He cares very deeply about he's little sister saying that he burdened her with a lot of hardships. He care's about his people also, as he stopped them from fighting and stopping Colonel Gaja from shooting himself by slapping the gun out of his hands, with the words "I know your loyalty well you strayed from your path only because I wasn't in the Country. I Forgive You." Even though Jenazad tried to kill him, Jihan mourned his death and stated he respected him as his master and as a father figure and shed a lone tear over his death.
Angol Moa is the "King of Terror", who is ditzy and insecure as a result of her impact from space. She was sent to planet Earth to arrive in July 1999 for Earth's destruction, as predicted by Nostradamus, under orders from her father. She states during her first appearance that she told Nostradamus to deliver a message to the humans warning them of her arrival. In the anime, she arrives 500 years too early and takes a nap in orbit, until she wakes up in 2004, 5 years too late. In the manga, she lands near Fuyuki, while in the anime, she lands on Giroro's tent. In both, she is taken into the Hinatas' home, where she is nursed back to health by Natsumi. When she wakes up, she reveals her true form and starts to destroy the Earth, until Keroro, who arrives later, is persuaded by Fuyuki to stop Mois. The Angols use seemingly magical weapons to destroy planets. Her weapon is the "Lucifer Spear", which, when not in use, looks and functions like a cellphone. When she is using her attack, "Hellmageddon", the Lucifer Spear becomes a golden staff with a crescent moon on one end and a meteor on the other end. She uses the meteor end to initiate Hellmageddon. She is close friends with Keroro, who she calls oji-sama, which means, roughly, "uncle". Whenever she sees anyone hitting Keroro is any way, she transforms and uses a watered down version of Hellmageddon, which usually catches others, including Keroro, in the blast. Tamama often competes with her for Keroro's attention (and affection). Her transformation sequences, stylized costume, and related accessories may make her a parody of the magical girl genre. As an added note, Mois' Pekopon form wears a hair clip explicitly in the shape of the Science Patrol's Ryuusei-mark in the anime (while the girl whose form/soul she "borrowed" has a Ultra Garrison-mark hair clip). Her name is frequently used in puns on the Japanese phrase moe-moe, which usually refers to a cute girl who appeals to older members of the audience. To blend in with the Earth people, Mois also transforms into a tanned, bleached-blonde teenage kogal who is always seen in a school uniform and loose socks. Her true form is a pale gray-haired girl who wears a purple-and-white magical girl costume. Although the King of Terror, she is anything but terrifying. She's sweet, clumsy, and peppy but can be scary when she's in Angol form, and uses her Lucifer Spear to split the Earth. She got her Earth-look from when she first arrived in 1999 (2004 in the anime), before she met the Hinatas. In the anime she saw a teenage girl (named Masami) who was beating up some thugs in order to protect her friends. Amazed by her courage, she decided to be like that girl and chose her appearance as her Earth-form. Mouri Ran is a childhood friend of Kudou Shinichi. She is the daughter of Mouri Kogorou, a private detective, and Kisaki Eri, a lawyer. Her parents got separated when she was seven, and one of her biggest goals is to get them back together. Her best friend next to Shinichi is her classmate Suzuki Sonoko, who constantly teases her about her relationship with Shinichi. After Shinichi's disappearance, Ran met Edogawa Conan, who was introduced by Professor Agasa as a "distant relative" and asked Ran if she wouldn't mind taking care of him at her house. She and her father practically adopted him; Ran immediately came to think of him as a surrogate little brother. Little did (and still does) Ran know that "Conan" is actually Shinichi. Ran's greatest personality trait is that she genuinely cares for those she loves. She is also patient, kind, and nurturing. Like Shinichi, she highly values justice to the point of idealism. To avoid making Shinichi choose between her and his important case (really an excuse because Shinichi has turned into Conan and can't return), she has decided to wait for him to finish it, trusting his promise that he will come back despite their separation causing Ran a lot of emotional pain. Ran is also very hot-blooded and tends to act on impulses when the people she cares about are involved; the combination of jumping to conclusions and not hesitating to use karate on those who she perceives to have wronged someone have led to several "near-miss" misunderstandings. Early on, she would become violently suspicious if she thought Shinichi was philandering although more recently his confessions have lead her to trust his intentions. Even though Ran is in love with Shinichi, she often fails to convey her feelings because she suddenly becomes self conscious. She can be very brave and resourceful when she wants to be, and rescues Conan from trouble on occasion. However, she has an irrational fear of the supernatural and is thus - unlike her friend Sonoko - absolutely no fan of anything related to the horror genre. She also constantly tries to reunite her father and mother again - though with little success, thanks to the mutual stubbornness of both parents. Men also tend to pay her a lot of undue romantic attention, a fact that makes Sonoko somewhat jealous (and of which Ran herself is completely unaware). Ran is very self sufficient for her age. This is because her father is drunk, slovenly, and fiscally irresponsible. She handles many of the Mouri household's financial affairs and all the cooking and housework. She also ensures Kogorou doesn't slack off on his job, is on his best behavior for client meetings, and she often greets and provides refreshments for potential clients.

Birthday: June 18 Blood type: AB Ana is an eleven-year-old girl who originally came from Cornwall, England, five years before the series, but seems to have forgotten how to speak English. She first pretends that she speaks only English, but it is not long before she is discovered by Matsuri while speaking very polite Japanese. Matsuri tries to help her re-learn English. Ana is often teased by Miu because of her name, Ana Coppola, which can be written in kanji to mean "hole", "bone", and "cave" (穴骨洞, "hole", "bone", and "cave"?). Miu nicknamed her "Coppola-chan", much to her grief. Ana's "proper Japanese" personality is reflected by her very traditionally feminine and polite speaking style.
Birthday: October 17 Blood type: A Nobue is the eldest main character. She is Chika's older sister and usually has final authority on all matters. She often tries to "borrow" money from Chika to buy cigarettes. Nobue is perpetually searching for a part-time job to earn money for more cigarettes to calm her nicotine addiction. The story suggests that Nobue derives some kind of sensual pleasure from watching the girls do cute things. In this respect, Nobue appears to appreciate the moe aesthetic. It is seen during the anime that Nobue prefers Matsuri and Ana over Chika and Miu. The Nobue character changed from the manga to the anime. In the manga, she is a sixteen-year-old high school freshman, while in the anime she is a twenty-year-old junior-college student. Her age is presumably changed because of her smoking and drinking habit, both becoming legal in Japan at age twenty. Although in the first episode of the anime she introduces herself as a sixteen-year-old, this was intended to be a joke as she quickly stated that she was twenty. She tends to act somewhat less mature in her manga incarnation, doing things such as tricking Matsuri into thinking that Miu is dead. Her appearance changes radically in the early stages of the manga, especially her hair, which goes from blond to dark brown (and is black in the anime).
Birthday: September 8 Blood type: B Miu is another twelve-year-old girl who is depicted in the story as having a problem-child personality. A childhood friend of Chika, she lives next door to the Ito house and attends the same class as Chika. Miu likes to say random things out of the blue and often plays pranks on Matsuri and Ana, but is most of the time interrupted by Nobue (and sometimes by Chika), ending up lying face-down on the floor. She has the least common sense or manners of the girls, and is rarely taken seriously because of her weird ideas and comments. She seems to harbor some sort of jealousy of Ana and Matsuri, because Nobue finds them cuter. Miu is nicknamed "Micchan".
