The son of Mou Bu and and 4000 men commander of the Gaku Ka unit. Appearance Mou Ten is often described as looking very girlish with his long bright brown hair, short and slender frame as well as a distinct lack of facial hair. He usually wears a pink robe even into battle and carries a thin sword with him. He has virtually no resemblace to his father. Personality Mou Ten has a very friendly and outgoing personality as he is always lively and ready to joke about situations. The reason is because his older brother and sister are all genius pianists while he was never as good as them and therefore was the bastard child of the family. When Tsukiko finally confesses to him, he's like "I feel sorry for you, for liking me." Later he gets over himself and agrees to be the next student council president in addition to confessing to Tsukiko. He agrees to enter the piano recital after being begged by the music club a and because he does so well his family finally acknowledges that he has talent. He's so happy that he wants to quit school and become a pianist instead. Tsukiko is upset because she realizes that it's not that he wants to become a pianist, but he is so happy that his family recognizes him that he will do anything to continue this recognition. In the true end he marries Tsukiko 5 years later.
A 3rd year and the vice president of the Magic Club. Aburatsubo is homosexual, but only shows affection toward Takakura; he never shows signs of being interested in any other boy. Takakura is uncomfortable with Aburatsubo's flirting, but doesn’t think much of it; though Aburastubo continuously flirt with Takakura, he understands that Takakura will never return his feelings. He has a variety of talents and is involved in many other clubs besides the Magic Club, such as the tennis team and drama club. The TV series establishes that doesn't have a very good standing towards his mother, who constantly babies him, though he does love her.
The First Master and the founder of the Fairy Tail Guild. She is also referred to as the mother of Fairy Tail. In year X686, Mavis, along with Precht, Warrod Sequen and Yury Dreyar, founded the Fairy Tail guild, with Mavis being the guild master. As they finally finished the guild building, all four took a photo with the building in background as a sign that Fairy Tail was born. She later entrusted the guild to Precht to serve as its second master. In gratitude, members of Fairy Tail made her a grave on the holy island of the guild - Tenrou Island. Mavis was given with an epithet as the Fairy Tactician, since she led her team in many victories thanks to her exceptional skills in making strategies during battles. Shortly before founding the guild, Mavis' body becomes unable to grow nor mature after she uses Fairy Law in an incomplete stage, when her body could not withstand the burden of the magic.

Umib�zu (means "sea bonze", which is a ghost in Japanese mythology; real name: Hayato Ijuin), is a "sweeper" in the underground just like Ryo Saeba. With his giant body, and his superb combat skills, he doesn't really need a partner. He is Saeba's equal in most things, and the two have somewhat of a rivalry going. Umibozu fought against Ryo back in Central America, and had his eyes damaged by Saeba. This should make them enemies, but both men shrug off the past since what happened in the war was not personal. That doesn't mean that they don't fight, though. They often find each other on the same case, but on different sides, and have dueled more than once.
