Yuri is a Trouble Consultant with the WWWA, an intergalactic "peace organization," with military interventionist tendencies. She and her partner, Kei, are genetically enhanced, making them excellent fighters. Together, they are charged with taking care of problems for the WWWA, often involving bounty hunter-type activities, assassination, and occasion diplomatic missions. Wherever the two travel, massive destruction occurs, this has given the two the nickname "Dirty Pair." Whole planets sometimes begin evacuation when word of their arrival spreads. For that reason, they travel discreetly whenever possible. Yuri is demure and doesn't speak as often or as loudly as Kei. Yui likes romanic men, and longs for her childhood sweetheart, Billy Galet. She uses is small caliber hand blaster as her weapon of choice, and is often ridiculed by Kei for using such a wimpy gun. She also likes using the elegant, yet often ineffective "bloody card" as a weapon. This razor-like rectangular throwing weapon is often worn as earring jewelry. Yuri is a deep-thinking pacifist compared to her partner, but will engage in extreme, tear-filled violent acts of vengeance whenever Kei is harmed. Sometimes it is difficult to tell if these are the actions of a "mother-figure," or an "unrequited lover." Additionally, Yuri displays hostile jealousy towards the many men in Kei's life. Yuri is a very caring individual, but when it comes to Kei, the caring reaches an amazing new order of magnitude. The two have known one another since at least grade school, and are, at a minimum, best friends- on rare occasion hinting at something more beneath the surface. Yuri has black hair, which sometimes appears in anime-blue. Her extra-long legs are from the "sexy hottie" school of anime drawing. Like Kei, she is drawn differently in the sequel series "Dirty Pair Flash." Kei and Yuri choose to wear tiny bikinis as uniforms. They are oblivious to modesty, and exemplify themselves as strong willed, tough-talking, pistol-packin' mamas with a gleam of intellect and self-determination in their eyes. They are a bit like prototypes for Xena and Gabrielle, from the live-action series "Xena," come to think of it. (Source: Absolute Anime)
A man wearing a brown trench coat and hat that is seen running from the same police officer in almost every episode (almost like a Zenegata/Lupin relationship). It is never explained why the cop chases Dandy as he is never seen doing anything wrong and even helps out Ink every now and again. It is later revealed that he is the King of the Magical Kingdom and Mio's partner. He turns into the form of a small dog while still wearing his hat and has a lolicon fetish as well (drooling and having a nose bleed when Mio changes, a combination of Arc and Kaksu's reaction). A young female officer who works with Megure. Her father was also a police officer who was killed on duty when she was only six years old. Her former partner Matsuda was killed in an explosion. She made her debut as a cameo appearance in Volume 19 of the manga or Episode 130 and was properly introduced in Volume 21 or Episode 146. Tough, energetic, and a dedicated police officer that her "dates" tend to turn into police investigations, but she also can be quite lively and cheerful. Sato is hugely popular with the male members of the police department, but to their chagrin she, albeit hesitantly, begins to develop feelings for her colleague Takagi. She has come to value Conan's aid in several tough cases and trusts his judgment implicitly. She can tell he is no ordinary boy, and accepts him as a member of the police. (Source: Wikipedia)
Chiba is a police detective who works with Inspector Megure. He is childhood friends with Miike Naeko from the traffic department, whom has a huge crush on him, but he does not remember her.
The characters for Yakumo literally mean "eight clouds" (but can also mean "countless clouds"), and Yukari "violet". Yukari is an elder ykai who dwells on the border of Gensokyo, and may predate the existence of the realm itself. A good friend of Yuyuko's and an acquaintance of Reimu's. She is the self-appointed stewardess of the seal between Gensokyo and the outside world, but doesn't do a particularly good job of it... Most of the time, she is asleep, leaving all the work to her shikigami Ran and Ran's shikigami Chen. When she isn't, she tends to amuse herself by pulling in unprepared humans from the outside world and stranding them in Gensokyo. A very irresponsible ykai. Her ability is the manipulation of boundaries, and such boundaries distinguish her spellcards. Often, though, she just summons her shikigami and various others to create her danmaku for her. She is the current "Child of Miare" (御阿礼ã®å), who is born in the Hieda family once in every few hundred years with the ability to "not forget anything she sees" and record Gensokyo's history. She seems to like red tea. Despite her young age, her memory goes back 1200 years. It is because every "Child of Miare" of the Hieda family is a reincarnation of the previous "Child of Miare," who inherits the memories of the previous incarnates. She is the ninth reincarnation in the line. It seems that no one but herself and Yukari know this, though she does mention part of it to Reimu during Memorizable Gensokyo. Each time she reincarnates her life span gets shorter and shorter, and each Child of Miare works on a written record of Gensokyo's history called the Gensokyo Chronicle. Perfect Memento in Strict Sense is the edition of this record that Akyu is writing. (Source: TouhouWiki)
Marisa is a human witch who lives in a cluttered house in the Forest of Magic. She is friends with Reimu and visits her often, but otherwise is solitary and spends most of her time researching magic. She is also an avid collector stuffing her house with various items, and would go "borrowing" things from others without returning them. She is selfish, sometimes violent, and has a disagreeable manner. Underneath, though, she is honest and a hard worker. This makes it strange that she is friends with Reimu, whose powers are purely from talent while she had to work very hard to get her own to the same level. Her ability is high-level destructive magic. (Source: Wikipedia)
