Age: 15-17 Birthday: December 31 Height: 158 cm Weight: 44 kg Blood type: O Motto: One good deed per day. Sawako is a shy yet honest girl who is in search of friendship, but her resemblance to horror film character Sadako, Sawako's modesty, and her tendency to shy away from correcting people of misconceptions prevent her from doing so to the point most of the school believed her name was in fact Sadako. Thanks to Kazehaya's kind and open nature, she is able to gradually open up to her classmates, and talk to different people. With help from Kazehaya, Yano, and Yoshida she gradually begins to make friends. She is grateful (and at first, worships) Kazehaya for giving her the opportunities to make close friends, which came to include Yano, Yoshida, Kazehaya, and Ryu. Yano and Yoshida admit that Sawako's "like" towards Kazehaya might be even more than Yano and Yoshida themselves. She is rather short, in part because her father is as well and is surprisingly fast, which is revealed during a soccer match at the school's sports festival. During Yano and Yoshida's first visit to Sawako's house, Yoshida notes that Sawako's lips and figure looks like her mother's and most of Sawako's other features resemble her father's. A running gag is that she seems to take what people say seriously as well as over-analyze a situation, which tends to scare the people around her when she is deep in thought. When Kazehaya practically confessed right in front of her that he likes her, she believes it was a misunderstanding and that he was just saying he doesn't hate her. However, after having everything cleared up they officially start dating, though this only brings up rumours that she somehow used black magic to get him.
Birthday: December 18 Zodiac: Sagittarius Height: 159 cm Weight: 55 kg Hiraga Gengai is Edo's greatest mechanic and inventor. He has helped Sakata Gintoki and the Yorozuya on several occasions. He makes ugly and crude machines, and his belief is that 'The machines of men are armour, cannons and caterpillars'. Gengai has a bad habit of modifying everything he has at hand, forgetting to tell the items' users important instructions on how to utilize them until it's too late. This usually results in the items' users getting into trouble. Hiraga Gengai was first introduced in Episode 17. Seemingly as a normal mechanic, the Yorozuya later found out that his only son, Hiraga Saburou had lost his life in the Joui wars. His only son's death left him with a deep emotional scar and Takasugi Shinsuke took advantage of that and used him to attack a festival in which the Shogun would be attending. However, with the help of the Yorozuya and the Shinsengumi, the attack was stopped and Gengai persuaded that revenge against the Bakufu was not the right course of action. Presently, he is the owner-proprietor of Machine Hall, a machine-repair workshop and inventor's office, and he frequently has to repair Gintoki's scooter. Even so, he is still a fugitive from the law, as seen from his wanted poster at the end of Episode 17, and as stated by Gintoki in the beginning of Episode 67. In the Lotus Chapter he helped repair Tama by re-using No.305's body. In the Tama's Virus Infection Chapter, he helped analyze the problem of Tama's pixelated look, sending the Yorozuya into her body to fight the viruses. In the Kabuki-cho arc, he appeared to help in the battle against the men of Doromizu Jirochou. In chapter 318 he repaired Sa-chan's glasses, and in chapter 321, it was discovered that he actually turned the glasses into some kind of mass destruction weapon.
Gon's exact saurian species is never delved into. He vaguely resembles an outdated depiction of a generic carnosaur in a tripod stance. He is an omnivore with an enormous appetite. He possesses enormous power and endurance for his size, his feats of strength including supporting his own weight with his jaws, to being able to partially lift a fully grown African Elephant. His scaly hide is almost impenetrable, being able to shrug off the bites of larger predators. Gon's intelligence seems to fluctuate in each adventure, ranging from total cluelessness (such as failing to notice a bird nest on his head for weeks), to strategic cunning (using a lion as a beast of burden to capture prey). Ms Ripple is a wealthy jewel collector who brought along many of her most precious jewels on-board the ship that Ash and his friends were traveling on while in the Decolora Archipelago. A screenshot on the tablet has the romanization of her name as "Lipple" by deciphering the anime language in the window title but it is obvious from the other characters in the episode that her proper name is Ripple as it ties in with Shoal, Tide and Current.
