Height: 175cm (5'9") As Madam Red's ineffectual butler, Grell tends to hang around the edges of the scene, fretting over the socially-unacceptable things that Grell's mistress continually gets up to. When something is not up to Madam Red's exacting standards, she takes it out on Grell whether or not it's actually Grell's fault. Grell's tea is said to be far inferior to Sebastian's. Meek, easily scandalized, and highly nervous, Grell's personality is entirely at odds with Grell's mistress'. As a result, the other characters tend to either ignore or walk all over Grell. However, this mild personality is entirely a facade. Grell's true identity is that of a death god; one with a true personality just as flamboyant as Madam Red's, perhaps even more so. The real Grell is a cheerful sadist who enjoys flirting and bloody murder, sometimes at the same time. Grell meets Madam Red during a night where she murders one of her patients, and is attracted to her—both because their favorite color is red and because of their issues regarding childbirth. Grell uses feminine pronouns and has more than a passing interest in Sebastian; at one point Grell compares the two of them to Romeo and Juliet during their battle (leaving Sebastian horrified). Though having an interest in Sebastian, it was stated that Grell's 'true love' is William. Overall, Grell appears to have a tenuous grasp on sanity at best, switching from childish irritation to murderous rage at the drop of a hat. Like a typical death god, Grell possesses a scythe; however, Grell had it transformed into a chainsaw because Grell considered a regular scythe to be old-fashioned. Grell explains that the scythe is capable of cutting through anything; when it cuts through a person, it divides their soul and their memories, thus resulting in that person's memories playing before their eyes.

He endeavors to be her friend even after learning that she loses every memory of her friends each Monday. Hase's easily seen trait throughout the whole series is his apprehensiveness. Instances in the media have depicted Hase is hesitant and almost fearful of moving forward and taking the first step. He is also quite simple-minded, as he can be pleased and displeased by very seemingly minor details. However, he is very headstrong and bold when he finally comes to a decision, and will not rest until he has seen his decision through. Hase can get easily jealous and mindful of certain things, such as the instance when Kaori talked about Shougo so much that Hase was beginning to get jealous. In this regard, Hase is naive and impulsive, often acting before thinking when he is aggravated. He also sometimes jumps to conclusions, further worsening the situations he gets himself in. However, Hase is kind by nature, and likes to socialize with people as a normal high-schooler would. He treats everyone with an equal amount of respect and kindness, save for people he has gotten to know better (except in the case of Hajime, they aren't quite friends.) Hajime is a transfer student during the second semester who is Kaori's primary school classmate. He and Kaori promised to meet in the park the day before he transferred to Hokkaido, to which Kaori never fulfilled due to her accident. His family has strict demands on him, to the point where he isn't allowed to buy games. Hajime is first shown as a very friendly person the day he transfers into his new school, however he rather acts very cold and distant towards Kaori. He calls her a "traitor" every single time due to the unfulfilled promise Kaori had on him, yet he doesn't tell her the truth until much more later. It is then revealed that Hajime isn't actually as cold as he usually acts towards Kaori but he is simply testing Kaori if she can even still remember him by acting that way. When Kaori tells him right after he tells her the truth about the past that she is rather happy to see Hajime again, he blushes in an instant, revealing that his feelings for Kaori are indeed still the same from before. He and Kaori are really close friends that Kaori even refers Hajime as her "most important friend". He is also the reason why Kaori excels in Mathematics so much ever since he has shown her in their sixth grade how intelligent he is regarding on everything about the subject.

Saki is known for being a bit air-headed. She is a bit clumsy and very forgetful, but not similar to how Kaori is forgetful. When she first appeared, she was being a little pushy with Kaori, however, she is very cheerful, always wear a smile on her lips and, according to Kaori, she is quite interesting. She is friendly and determined to become close friends with Kaori. Saki also sometimes acts like a child, because she needs someone she can relies on.
