Karla, the Grey Witch, is an ambiguous character responsible for shaping the history of the accursed island of Lodoss. She is the only survivor of an ancient Magic Kingdom and has lived for more than 500 years. Her physical self has perished long ago, but her soul (embedded in a golden circlet) possesses a human host from time to time so that she can have a body. After the fall of the Magic Kingdom she believes the only way for Lodoss not to be destroyed is to keep a balance between peace and chaos. So when there is war, she creates peace; when there is peace, she provokes war. Karla claims that in this way Lodoss will never collapse. For these years she has been changing her hosts, watching and manipulating the history of Lodoss. In the era that we encounter in RLW, Karla seems to be siding with Beld (the Marmo king) and Ashram. Therefore, she is considered to be evil by Parn and his partners. However, she actually does not care which side will win as long as there is not too much peace or too much chaos. She has first started wars by helping Beld; now she offers to help Parn and his comrades to create peace. Finally, peace is brought to Lodoss and Karla disappears but she will be back when the balance of history becomes tilted again... (Source: oocities.org)
King Kashue, the Mercenary King, had gained his name by uniting the desert kingdoms with his sword. Now the king of the unified Kingdom of Flaim, he comes to King Fahn's aid in the war against Marmo. Soon after the war ended, activity began to stir at Fire Dragon Mountain. Shooting Star has awakened! He sets out there with his men to attempt to stop the ancient dragon. Parn has always had a fondness for the Mercenary King, but Kashue did not become a king for nothing. He refuses Parn's help at first because of his recklessness, but he realizes that without another path to take, Parn would follow him anyway (such as when he followed Kashue to Fire Dragon Mountain). And then, he learns of the rising darkness on Marmo, and King Kashue sees what must be done. He sends the call out to all kingdoms of Lodoss to rise up and face the rising forces of Marmo in one final battle, and the scope is enormous. Even the ancient dragons Narse and Mycin will clash.
Shinigami who appeared in the OVA The Sealed Sword Frenzy. Baishin's appearance is that of a middle aged man with a beard and blades growing out of his shoulders. He can transform parts of his arms into blades that he can then launch at his enemies. He also wears a samurai-like armor over his shinigami hakama. 400 years prior to the main Bleach storyline Baishin found a way to merge himself with his Zanpakut�, as a result he went on a rampage. He is responsible for the death of 63 seated officers of which some were lieutenants, and proceeded to escape to the real world. A total of six Captains were sent to capture him, two of them which lost their lives while the remainder were able to imprison him
Musca is a supporting character and is the youngest child in the royal Noctitcus family. She appears to be bratty and snotty since she is used to getting whatever she wants whenever she wants. She also has an odd habit of talking in third person every once in a while. Musca used to look down on Belca with scorn and disliked him in the beginning of the series. However, as the series progresses, her opinion of him changes and she often refers to him as "Commoner's Child" or just Belca. She tries to make contact with him now since Orcelito appears to be ignoring her in her opinion and somewhat looks fondly to Belca. Earlier, Lagen had been poisoning Musca was a less harmful poison that only made her feel sick and feverish. Ossan, her self appointed "knight" realized this and told her the truth. A young man in his teens with white hair and red eyes. He wears light armor and usually carries around a small blade. He is a kind yet shy boy and is easily intimidated when facing a stronger opponent. He cares deeply for the people around him especially his goddess Hestia. Bell was raised by his grandfather in a rural village near the labyrinth city Orario. After hearing many stories about the heroes of Orario and after the death of his only guardian, he came to Orario to become an adventurer. He is well known by the Goddesses for being very cute, and more importantly, for his abnormal growth in adventuring skills. He becomes Level 2 one month after becoming an adventurer, easily the fastest ever. It was revealed that his grandfather is the God Zeus, however, they are not related by blood and Bell is the adopted grandson. Zeus' Familia was wiped out by a black dragon, and it is speculated that Bell's parents were among them. Bell is considered the last hero of Zeus' Familia. Jean Robert Lap is a talented lieutenant commander for the Free Planets Alliance. He is both a former schoolmate and old friend of Yang Wen-Li, and the fiancée of Jessica Edwards. He served as an operations staff officer in the 6th fleet of the Battle of Astate. Lap died, along with the 6th fleet, in the Battle of Astate. He had insisted upon retreat as defeat was inevitable. But his superior, Commander Moore, refused, suggesting that retreat was cowardly. Lap's death inspired the political activism of Jessica Edwards. Yang also felt some measure of responsibility; if he had been more assertive, many lives (including Lap's) may have been saved. Lap was posthumously promoted to the rank of Captain.
Armor: Dahlia of Wednesday Fasalina is the only female member of the Original Seven pilots. Before being recruited, she worked as a prostitute. She is extremely loyal to the Claw Man, and will do anything to protect both him and his dream. When battling in her armor, Fasalina often taunts her opponents by being very flirtatious, thereby bringing them out of focus. She later develops a romantic relationship with Michael and becomes a faithful supporter of him. When not fighting inside her armor, she uses a staff which can extend, bend or contract at her will.
