He is a shinobi from Kumogakure. In stark contrast to his sister Samui, Atsui has a rather hot-headed and spirited attitude, which is evident even in battle. He prefers attacking his enemies head on, leaving him entirely devoid of any support at times. He has a tendency of saying the word "hot" (���, atsui) and admits that he has created a substantial amount of "hot-shot" catchphrases. Like many other Kumogakure shinobi, Atsui is extremely proficient in kenjutsu, incorporating a long white katana as part of his main fighting style. When this blade is utilised in conjunction with his Fire Release nature transformation techniques, through the application of Chakra Flow, he is capable of incinerating a significant quantity of opponents in a single instant. The anime also showed that he is able to conjure flames with each swing of his sword.
Gamatatsu (ガマ竜; Literally meaning "Toad Dragon") is one of Gamabunta's children and Gamakichi's younger brother who has a fixation with snacks. Gamatatsu has shown that he'd choose snacks over someone's life. When Naruto is injured while fighting with Kabuto Yakushi, he replies, "Hey Gamakichi, do we have to wait for the kid to croak till we get snacks, cuz' I'm getting hungry". Although in the filler arcs Gamatatsu showed that he does care about Naruto's life as he was ready to rescue him before Gamakichi talked him out of it. It should be noted that Gamatatsu appears to be the most subservient and loyal of the main frog summons as he was willing to serve Naruto before Gamakichi brought up the snack remark. While being naive and childishly stupid, he does sometimes make use of his natural curiosity to help Naruto solve puzzles (like the mystery of the Ghost Warrior in the filler arcs). Gamatatatsu's obsession for snacks is so great that he waited a year since his first summon for the snack he was promised, even though he didn't get it. He is always hungry and asking his summoner for snacks, and often gets mixed up in unusual predicaments which he counts on his "big brother Gamakichi" to get him out of. In the english dub, his voice is jocularly high and he is usually used for comic relief when he is summoned. He also openly refers to Gamabunta as "daddy", which the older toad either chooses to ignore or simply doesn't mind.

He gets along considerably better with Itachi than most Akatsuki members do with their own partners, immediately doing as Itachi asks of him and always looking out for Itachi's well-being. His former country, the Land of Water, now seeks him out for plotting to overthrow its government and being involved in numerous assassinations. When he was still loyal to Kirigakure, he was one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, a group of ninja that wield particularly large weapons in battle. Kisame's weapon is called Samehada, a scale-covered sword that shaves off skin instead of cutting and is capable of absorbing untold amounts of chakra. Samehada only allows Kisame to wield it; if anyone else tries to pick it up, spikes protrude from its handle and it returns to Kisame's side. Like other characters who have trained to be one of the Seven Swordsmen, Kisame enjoys mutilating his opponents, as seen when he suggests cutting off Naruto Uzumaki's legs to make him easier to carry. Kisame has a distinctive shark-like appearance, complete with pale blue skin, small white eyes, gill-like facial structures, and sharp triangular teeth. Even his name, Kisame, means "demon shark". His shark-like qualities carry over to the type of techniques he uses in battle, as he often shapes bodies of water into the forms of sharks that proceed to attack opponents. If there is no water source where he happens to be fighting, Kisame can use Water Release: Exploding Water Shockwave to create a lake's worth of water to be used for attacks. Kisame is also noted to have a particularly large reserve of chakra; even when he fights at 30% power in one instance his chakra supply is compared to that of a Nine-Tailed Demon Fox-enhanced Naruto Uzumaki. Shiho works on the cryptology squad that was tasked by Shikamaru Nara to decipher the code left by Jiraiya. Personality Shiho is an upbeat cheerful girl who appears to be attracted to Shikamaru Nara. She deeply blushes as Shikamaru leaves to seek help with the code. Knowing that Shikamaru said he would return if he found out any new information, Shiho refuses an offer to go home from her boss. Instead she fixes herself up in a mirror, intending to see Shikamaru again when he returns. Shiho also blushes when Shikamaru accepts her offer of accompanying him back to Tsunade's office. The side text on chapter 407's cover page, which Shiho appears on, makes mention of how excited and nervous she gets around Shikamaru. edit Part II Hunt for Uchiha arc Shiho is first shown as one of the ninja assigned to Konoha's cryptology unit. She informs Shikamaru that they cannot decipher the code without a key. She tells him that someone who was close to Jiraiya might be able to help crack the code. After helping to crack the code, she then accompanies Shikamaru and the others back to Tsunade's office. Invasion of Pain arc Shiho is later seen helping Shikamaru and Sakura figure out what the now cracked code means. When Pain invades Konoha, she is seen speaking with Shikamaru with his father behind him. She survives Pain's large scale attack on the village along with Shikamaru and Shikaku. Abilities Shiho is level-headed, and despite appearing young, quite competent as a decoder. She helps both Shikamaru and Naruto in code breaking and is able to figure out Jiraiya's code based on the information she was given. She also appears to be quite intelligent, offering sound advice when Shikamaru and Sakura discussed the meaning of Jiraiya's message.
Zetsu is easily distinguished by two large venus fly trap-like extensions enveloping his head and upper body, giving him a plant-like appearance. When his extensions are open and his head is visible, it is revealed that Zetsu has two different colored halves of his body, the left side completely white and the right side black. To go with this, Zetsu seems to have a split personality, as in the Japanese version of the manga the black half of his face speaks only in Katakana while the white side uses Kanji and Kana, and in the English episodes the black side has a different voice actor than the white side. The two halves also converse with each other, and occasionally differ in opinion (the black half is more serious and intelligent while the white half is carefree and easygoing). They also seem to communicate with their thoughts. To further his venus fly trap theme, Zetsu is a cannibal. Zetsu is seemingly very trustworthy, being entrusted with knowledge of Pain and Tobi's identities. He has apparently been working with the latter for some time, Tobi first appearing as his "subordinate" and Zetsu later commenting that Tobi's plans have been in the works for a long time. Zetsu's main role within the Akatsuki is to function as a spy, often acting as a hunter-nin for Akatsuki. He has been shown able to move his body and take part in the tailed beasts sealing ritual imultaneously which, in addition to being unique to him, allows him to act as a lookout while the sealing takes place. When an agent to Akatsuki, or possibly even a member, dies, Zetsu is sent to devour their bodies so as to not have their secrets revealed. Zetsu is also the one sent to retrieve the rings of dead Akatsuki members. Due to the role he plays, Zetsu is the only member of Akatsuki to act without a partner on a regular basis. Despite this, Zetsu serves as a sort of superior to other members, as they often report directly to him instead of the actual leader, Pain.

Out of all the children gathered, B was the only person able to successfully perform the Double Lariat with A. As such he was given the name "B", and A stated they would be brothers from that day on. After A's cousin, the jinchuuriki of Gyūki lost control and killed Motoi's father along with seven other ninja on that day, B was chosen as its next Jinchuuriki at the age of 5. During the 3rd Great Shinobi World War, he and his brother encounter Minato Namikaze and had a small scuffle with Minato and his squad. Killer Bee is a muscle-bound shinobi from Kumogakure and the Jinchuuriki of the Eight-Tailed Beast. It is hinted he comes from the Yotsuki clan. He appears to dislike light. On his right shoulder, he has a tattoo that says "iron" (鉄, tetsu); and on his left cheek, he has a tattoo of a bull's horn (correspondingly, the Eight-Tails has horns like a bull, and the left one is missing). He also carries seven swords and has a brother who is the Raikage. It seems that he demands respect from others and asks to be called "Lord Jinchuuriki" (人柱力様, Jinchuuriki-sama) and his Tailed Beast be called "Lord Eight-Tails" (八尾様, Hachibi-sama). He also appears willing to speak in song, more specifically in rap style, even when confronted with potential threats. He will even stop in a middle of a fight to write whatever rhymes come to him. He has a casual relationship with the Eight-tailed Beast, frequently engaging in friendly conversation with it. As a Jinchuuriki, Killer B has a massive chakra pool enough to make Samehada get very excited and betray Kisame, who is known for his massive amounts of chakra. Killer B is one of the few people to have achieved full control over a tailed beast and is known as a Perfect Jinchūriki because of this feat along with Yagura, the Fourth Mizukage and Naruto Uzumaki. B is the only known, as well as living Jinchuuriki who can at will, transform and remain in his full tailed beast form indefinitely. The current Raikage is the older brother of the Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tailed Beast, Killer Bee. It is hinted that Killer Bee, and therefore the Raikage as well, comes from the Yotsuki clan. Knowing Yugito Nii's and Killer Bee's immense powers if they were to ever transform into their full power forms, he forbade them from doing so. After learning that Killer Bee is captured by Akatsuki, the Raikage demands a meeting of the five Kage and resolves to eliminate Sasuke, Killer Bee's captor. He is very caring and protective towards his brother, despite Killer Bee's status as a Jinchūriki, and cried at the idea of his younger brother being captured by Akatsuki. He is very physically strong, as he appears lifting a large amount of weight with just one hand and broke his desk with a single punch.
