Nation's name: Magyar Köztársaság (Republic of Hungary) Capital: Budapest Language: Hungarian Wedding Anniversary: June 8th (this refers to the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867 when she “married” Austria) National flower: Tulip and Pelargonium Human name: Elizabeta Héderváry Age: Unknown Height: 160cm (5’2”) A long time ago, Hungary was a nomadic nation who chased horses on the plains. After settling down, she became a powerful nation that had been dominating Central Europe for about 600 years. In the past, she used to beat up Austria, but because other nations weren't really nice to her as she got older, she came to love Austria because he was kinder to her than anyone else. The Monarchy of Austria-Hungary was a compromise that said that they would support each other in a fight, and since then she’s helped him out several times. Her relationship with Prussia is more or less as longtime rivals. As children, Prussia always assumed that Hungary was a boy because of the way she talked and acted (not to mention that Hungary herself was convinced that she was male). Because of this, he picked on her and made fun of her hardships. It wasn’t until Prussia found Hungary wounded after battling the Ottoman Turks that the two of them both realized that she was, in fact, a girl. Since then, the two have been on somewhat bad terms, but Hungary often states that even though she hates Prussia, she would be very lonely if he died or if something else ever happened to him. She was also picked on by Mongolia and Turkey (then the Ottoman Empire) as a child. When she was working in Austria’s house with Italy (then Chibitalia), she acted like a mother to him. She was the only person who knew of his true gender, but despite this, she often dressed him traditional Hungarian costumes and garments worn by women. She doesn't get along with Romania to the point where she uses the names of famous Romanians to name her dogs. In response, most jokes native to Romania are about Hungarians (much like the “Polack” jokes or “In Soviet Russia...” jokes that most are familiar with). Her personality is introverted, but she works hard behind the scenes. She is a great friend to have, but a fearsome enemy to have as well. At first glance, she seems to be a beautiful and ladylike maiden with a wonderful singing voice, but sometimes her tongue slips and her potty mouth from her wild days as a horse-riding nomad rears its ugly head. Hungary likes flowers, and is almost always seen wearing some in her hair, which are said to represent Lake Balaton (found in the western central area of present day Hungary). As shown in several strips, Hungary appears to be somewhat of a fujoshi, and is noted as being the manliest character in the series, despite the fact that she is a woman. As her weapon, Hungary wields a frying pan that she usually carries around with her to hit Prussia with. Though her most recognizable outfit is her green military uniform and matching beret, she's been seen wearing nothing but traditional Hungarian costumes and garments when drawn wearing other getups. Also to be noted is that Hidekaz Himaruya initially intended for her to be a cross-dressing male, a role that was later given to Poland who was originally intended to be female. The original Hungary character design was actually recycled and used as Lithuania's basic design.
Age: 30 Birthday: November 21, 1985 Blood type: B Ritsuko Akagi is NERV's head scientist and is heavily involved in the repairs and maintenance of Tokyo-3's defenses against the Angels, particularly the Evas. She is the daughter of Naoko Akagi, the developer of the MAGI supercomputer system which controls Nerv. In many ways, Ritsuko is living in the shadow of her mother, whom she both admires and despises. Naoko was the head scientist working on the Evangelion project before her death, and Ritsuko is continuing the work her mother began with the Evas, as well as continuing the development of the Magi supercomputer system. Flashbacks to a teenaged Ritsuko reveal that she is a natural brunette, just like her mother. Ritsuko is extremely intelligent, with a strong dedication to her work and a stoic, detached attitude which is frequently contrasted against Misato Katsuragi's hot-headness, especially during Eva combat. Her occasional jibes at Misato are a source of comic relief in the series. She has a great affinity for cats, and Misato chides her at one point for substituting her cats for human affection. She also is a heavy smoker, as evidenced by an ashtray on her desk filled with cigarette butts stained by her lipstick.
Nation's name: Rzeczpospolita Polska (Republic of Poland) Capital: Warsaw Language: Polish Birthday: November 11th National flower: Pansy Human name: Feliks Åukasiewicz Height: Unknown Age: 19 (appearance) A nation that was once of super power status who dominated and controlled almost half of Europe during the Middle Ages. He has shoulder length blonde hair and green eyes, but in earlier artwork, his eyes were colored blue. He is best friends with Lithuania, whom he calls "Liet" (derived from "Lietuva" which means "Lithuania" in Lithuanian). Back during the Middle Ages, they were partners in conquering Europe. The two are very close, but Lithuania seems to have the short end of the stick in their friendship, constantly being dragged around by Poland. Poland doesn’t care if Lithuania ever hates him because he knows that he’ll always like him no matter what. To this day, there is little border protection between the two, still showing a definite sign of their closeness. Poland’s true personality is hidden behind his air-headed and somewhat spacey appearance. He seems to be really tough, but is actually very shy, especially around strangers, and it takes him a long time to get used to someone. However, he is clingy and quite bothersome once he gets to know you. He usually doesn’t think before he acts, is somewhat selfish, and is forceful with his opinions, but is very cheerful. He is used by other countries often, mainly because of his impulsiveness. Eventually, he was divided up by other countries, but kept “rising” back, similar to a phoenix. From this, we can easily see that Poland is quite a strong country. He's also known for having a pretty awesome national anthem. It is apparent that Poland crossdresses as a hobby, and that he talks in a Nagoya high school girl dialect (which is literally just a “valley girl” accent). Also to note is that Poland was originally designed to be female, a role that was later given to Hungary who was supposed to be a cross-dressing male.
The most bad luck having person in the world. In true, he's half human-angel and bad luck is only a side-effect from his angelic powers which were not yet balanced.
He is voiced by Kawahara Reki in the TV version and Kuroda Takaya in the DVD/BD version.
Gender: Male Occupation: Yellow king Legion: Crypt Cosmic Circus (Leader) Avatar: Yellow Radio Level: 9 Abilities: Judgement Blow, Silly-Go-Round Yellow Radio being the Yellow King makes him a very powerful and commanding person. He is also very cruel and manipulative person as he was the one who stole the chrome disaster armor and essentially created the fifth one in order to exploit the rules that allows him to kill the Red King. He along with the Kings of Pure Color attained level nine and decided to create a treaty that seperates their territories and disallowed fighting amongst each other to obtain level ten. Radio was present when Black Lotus called for the dissolution of the treaty. When her plan was rejected, she beheaded the Red King, Red Rider, to the shock of the other kings, who then attacked her. Lotus went into hiding and hadn't been heard from for two years. He is also known as the Radioactive Disturber. This implies that his attacks are based around the effects of radiation. Yellow Radio's abilities rely on illusions in order to disorient his opponents. However, since he is the Yellow King, he is able to battle Black Lotus on equal grounds. His weapon is a baton that is apparently strong enough to withstand strikes from Black Lotus' blades. It was possible due to its special effect which is the more times it spun around, the more powerful it becomes. (Source: Accel World Wiki)
Black Vice has shown to be very calm no matter what situation arises. He is also quite laid-back, as shown when Silver Crow broke out of his move, Static Pressure, and when Black Lotus appeared and challenged him. (Source: Accel World Wikia)
