Beatrice Castiglioni is the true Beatrice who was Kinzo's mistress, hidden away in Kuwadorian. She gave birth to Kinzo's daughter, Beatrice Ushiromiya, and died soon after. Kinzo treated the new Beatrice as her reincarnation, and thus she bore yet another child who is Kinzo's daughter and granddaughter at the same time, Yasuda, who is the current Beatrice who loves Battler.

However, it is revealed that Hye-min and Lena are half-siblings. Due to the shock Lena breaks up with Hye-Min but Hye-Min's mother sends thugs after Lena. In an attempt to protect Lena, Hye-Min is badly injured and near death, and the enraged mother of Hye-Min now sends assassins who kill Lena's mother before Lena can warn her. While attempting to escape herself, Lena is stabbed by the assassins and falls into a nearby river; when she wakes up she finds herself in a strange world and she discovers that she might be its only hope! Upon her arrival in the Scottish middle ages, she hides her sex and calls herself "Ley" and is known as a fearsome warrior. Her actions and words show the charisma of "a born leader", causing many to follow her instinctively. When she meets Maren, of the Leon tribe with the gift to only speak the truth, she is told that she was originally from the current world. A child of Jira (Zira), who became a concubine of the King of Aran, she had been stolen as a baby by the previous Queen Arianna who had become mentally unstable from the loss of her son to her daughter who later became Queen Elinor. It is still unknown which world Lena truly is from. She's the leader of "The Five".
The 27th highest ranking earl of hell named after the demon of the same name. Ronove serves as Beatrice's (and later, Battler's) butler and head furniture. He often serves black tea and cookies to Beatrice and her guests. Nonchalant, he often bears a mysterious smile that is hard to interpret, even for his master. Even though he is bound by contract with Beatrice, he does not hesitate to state facts to tease her. He shares a link with Genji Ronoue, similar to the one held by Virgilia and Chiyo Kumasawa. In Alliance of the Golden Witch, he engages Jessica in combat, where he utilizes barriers for both offense and defense, generating strong ones to both deflect attacks and launch enemies backwards. He can also use a special barrier that returns damage back to the attacker.
She was the previous Endless Witch before Beatrice, and was also her teacher. Her new name (having passed her old one to her student) comes from the Divine Comedy character Virgil, who guides Dante through Hell and Purgatory to Beatrice, who is his guide through Heaven. She is a silver-haired witch with great powers, despite surrendering most of them to Beatrice with the title of the "Endless Witch". Unlike Beatrice, Virgilia thinks that the powers of a witch should be used for good and not for selfish means. She taught Beatrice the Endless Magic, and retired, believing that Beatrice would also devote herself for the people. At the same time that she was Beatrice's teacher, she also served as the magician of Beatrice's home. Because of that, Virgilia had come in contact with her with the position of a servant. It is said that this became her downfall, and invited Beatrice's arrogance and recklessness She assists Battler during Banquet of the Golden Witch, helping him to come up with theories to counter the claims that Beatrice sets forth, though it is revealed in the end that her allegiances lie entirely with Beatrice, having worked with and secretly assisted her throughout the game in an effort to make Battler accept the existence of witches. However, she ends up becoming Battler's ally once again in End of the Golden Witch when Battler becomes the Endless Sorcerer. She is a dangerous opponent, as she can beat Beatrice in combat if not for a surprise attack. She is also somewhat bumbling as well. She may be linked to Chiyo Kumasawa.
