* First appearance: Battle 175 * Age: 18 * Type: Sei * Type: Satsujin Ken * Yomi Symbol: Ice * Martial Art: Command Sambo Boris Ivanov is a member of Yomi, a practitioner of Command Sambo, and the leading disciple of Alexander Gaider. He is the second Yomi member to fight Kenichi in a duel and is one of the first four Yomi members transferred to Kenichi's school. Boris is usually seen in a military outfit due to his loyalty to his country and has a muscular build. His hair is silver and spiked in the back and usually has a small headband around his forehead. He was seen in a school uniform to fit in at Kenichi's school. Being a Russian soldier and the right hand man to a colonel, Boris frequently acts in a militaristic manner. He strictly upholds orders and believes orders are absolute, as he will follow any order from his master or his teacher without question or hesitation. He also particularly hates anyone who disobeys orders, and seems jealous when he finds someone with greater loyalty than his. He seems to have a small degree of respect for anyone who is willing to speak against him openly. Although he is an enemy of Kenichi, he will work with him to take down some opponents and find ways to listen to him, such as hearing Kenichi's words as advice and tips, not orders. He will also find loop holes to turn orders to his advantage without going against them. Like Ethan, he was one of the few Yomi students to actually leave a good impression on most of the students their and held a respect for his teacher, Ono Kyouko, doing anything she asked without question and always did good deeds at his school. The teacher always thought of Boris as a very kind person, which may not be an overestimation, as he did ally with Kenichi to keep her safe from his own men due to loop holes he found, suggesting he may not be as bad as he seems and actually be more lenient towards Katsujin Ken. He gets along well with his militia men as they follow him as soldiers and commander but doesn't seem to listen to Kanou Shou until he hears his master's orders first. Boris is also the first opponent to acknowledge Kenichi for his strength, even to the point of even conceding that he is stronger.
First appearance: Battle 258 Age: 80+ Type: Sei Type: Satsujin Ken Yami Symbol: Water Martial Arts: Jujutsu (Kushinada Style) Kushinada Mikumo is the Jujutsu Master of Yami's One Shadow Nine Fists and the Master of Kushinada Chikage. It is worth noting that she is the only female member within the Nine Fists so far. Mikumo appears a curvaceous and very well-endowed woman in her mid 20's to early 30's. This is most likely due to her family's experimentation on their bodies to slow down their aging process. She has been seen driving in a sports car (clashing with her Japanese style hakama) towards a destination presumed to be Diego's location not long after Diego transformed into the "Angry Steel Fist." She has long waist length black hair, wears an open Kimono to show off her bosom and usually wears a bead necklace around her neck. In her youth, her hair was shorter, down to her chin and her breasts were not as large and she was slightly shorter. Mikumo is one of the most emotionless and serious members of Yami shown. She rarely shows any other emotions other than surprise and always keeps a melancholy face. She believes in keeping your emotions in control is important for battle and one should not lose your temper or it will dull your skills. She treats Chikage very well, more than any other member of Yomi, possibly because she's her disciple and seems to treat her as her own daughter. She seems to be fond of meditating, as she tends to meditate when she has free time. Mikumo holds the belief that empathy is weakness and that the strong do not let their heart be shaken by the weak. She used this to her advantage to make Ethan Stanley fight more ruthlessly against Kenichi to save his sister. However, she acts oddly feminine when she recounts her past adventures with Hayato, chiding him for being "hardly charming," covering half of her face with the sleeve of her hakama, and referring back to the events as "the hot fires blazing between us." Mikumo has worked with Fuurinji Hayato against Yami in the past, and a flashback reveals a much younger Hayato and what appears to be only a slightly younger Mikumo on the battlefield. It was hinted that the two may have shared a deeper relation at one time, though Hayato denies this, saying that "the only things that burned were the forts and tanks." What has turned her to the path of Yami is unknown at this point; however, it is suggested it was after the loss of someone she held dear.
* First appearance: Battle 266 * Type: Sei * Type: Satsujin Ken * Martial Arts: Chinese Kenpo Ro Jisei was one of Ma Sougetsu's old friends and, according to Ma Kensei, was responsible for leading him down the path of the Satsujin Ken. He was a member of Yami and Chou Enshin's master. He is a member of the One Shadow Nine Fists while Ma Sougetsu is not present. Ro first appeared with his features mostly hidden during the One Shadow Nine Fists meeting after the death of Kanou Shou, to which he expresses his belief that Shou wasn't worthy of inheriting his techniques without explicitly stating his reason. After that, he doesn't appear again until his disciple's match against Tanimoto Natsu. Ro and Sougetsu watch the fight until Tanimoto wins the match and earn the Moon symbol of Yomi. Ro's fate as well as Chou's after they are replaced is unknown, but it is implied that he is either training his disciple or is in search for another disciple after his own was disposed of.
Karui (カルイ) is a kunoichi of Kumogakure, and a member of Team Samui. The team was sent to Konoha by the Fourth Raikage to inform them that they would be taking care of Sasuke Uchiha and Akatsuki. She, along with the other two members of her team, are Killer Bee's students. Karui seems to have a somewhat comedic-negative relationship with her teammate, Omoi. During their debut, they argued over the possible reasons that they could have been called by the Raikage. She assumed that he wanted them to get him more protein shakes. However, the argument started with Omoi implying that she is flat-chested in comparison to their teammate, Samui. However, like the rest of her team, she highly respects Killer Bee. Karui is also quite outspoken and allows her emotions to let out, as she angrily yelled at Team Kakashi to allow the renegade Sasuke to run loose. She came to a violent point when she took out her rage on Naruto and beat him. In terms of fighting style, Karui relies mainly on swordplay, and thus would be considered a swordsmanship specialist. She and Omoi use attack combos together with swords, using slick, precise movements as they work well together. Karui has good strength, she punched Naruto hard enough to make him bleed instantly. "Karui" means "light" or "non-serious" in Japanese, as a contrast to Omoi's name. (Source: Narutopedia)
Age: 14 (I) ; 17 (II) Birthday: 3 July Horoscope: Cancer Bloodtype: 0 Height: 172 cm Weight: 54.2 kg Rank: Genin (I); Jonin (II) Likes: soba noodles with herring, meditation Dislikes: pumpkin, spicy things Neji Hyuuga is a stoic member of Might Guy's Team Guy, consisting of himself, Rock Lee, and Tenten. Neji and Lee have somewhat of a rivalry, much like that of Guy and Kakashi Hatake. Lee is determined to prove that a "failure" such as himself can defeat a "genius" such as Neji. Neji, however, doesn't seem to be interested in this goal of Lee's, and Lee doesn't seem to have made an effort to prove the point to Neji. Despite this apparent clashing of ideals between the two, Neji seems to get along fairly well with Tenten, with the latter often helping Neji with his training. Neji and Tenten also tend to share opinions on Lee and Guy's overreactive behaviors, often wondering how they can train the way they do. As a member of the Hyuga clan, Neji has a Byakugan, allowing him to see the chakra flow of others and block the flow upon contact with his Gentle Fist style. As a member of the clan's branch house, Neji can never hope to be taught how to use the clan's most secret techniques by the clan's elders. Despite this, Neji has learned many of the clan's strongest techniques independently, even creating a few unique skills of his own. Because of this, Neji is known as a genius ninja and graduated from the Academy as the #1 rookie. Because his father, Hizashi Hyuga, was a member of a branch house of the Hyuga clan, Neji was born into the branch house. As a result, he was branded with the Hyuga branch family seal at a young age so that the members of the main house could keep him in check. Hizashi, believing Neji to be denied his potential as a branch house member, openly resented the main house, causing Neji to acquire the same feelings due to his father's influence. In time, Neji's hatred for the main house would increase exponentially as result of Hizashi being sacrificed to save the life of Hiashi Hyuga, Hizashi's twin brother. Neji believed that his father was forced to die for his twin brother. Because of this, Neji came to feel that fate was something decided at birth and that no matter what one does, people cannot escape their destiny. This idea would go on to shape Neji's life, creating a deep hatred for the main house and all of its members. After the Chunnin Exams when Neji fights Naruto his both his great skill and potential are recognized by the clan leader, his uncle Hiashi Hyuuga, and is sought out by him to train with the main branch of the family to further enhance Neji's skills. This helps ease some of the tensions between the two branches of the Hyuuga clan.
Riza Hawkeye is Roy Mustang's most trusted subordinate. She carries out many of the tasks he is too lazy to do, acts as his personal assistant, and protects him from danger. She also doubles as his voice of reason, keeping cool in heated situations and scolding him when he allows his emotions to get in the way. Riza and Roy seem to share a close relationship in both adaptations of Fullmetal Alchemist; in the anime she identifies him as her most precious person, whereas in the manga she loses her resolve to live when believing he has been killed. Riza specializes in firearms, particularly sniper rifles, and can hit nearly any target with lethal accuracy. She adopts a dog, called Black Hayate in both the anime and the manga, which she raises with stern discipline; when Hayate goes to the bathroom inside, she shoots at the wall behind him to reinforce that doing so is bad.
