Luciana Rune Artwaltz is one of the twin valkyries under Gulcasa's command and is the older twin. Both she and her sister Aegina are of eighteen years of age. It is revealed in the Yggdra Union's prequel game, Blaze Union, that she and her twin sister were actually born as princesses of Fantasinia, but an order to assassinate them came right after they were born. A soldier managed to smuggle them out of the country, after which they were adopted by a noble named Marquis Albelt and raised in seclusion within his city. Both she and her sister Aegina were told that they were abandoned because of the old superstition that twins were bad luck, and the two of them spent their lives learning to fight so that they could one day kill the father who abandoned them as well as Yggdra, the younger sister who replaced them. <br><br>Source: Yggdra Union wiki

Maya is the sharp-tongue rival of Virginia Maxwell and the leader of the world renowned Schroedinger Family, as well as the big sister of Alfred. Maya first appeared in Serpent Coil searching for the second shield and hoping to get a large sum of money along the side. Like Virginia, Maya is a brave strong-willed woman who isn't afraid to get what she wants. Despite her views on justice, Maya has a strong belief in the codes of the wasteland and because of this, Maya can come across as being harsh and cold-blooded to some people, none-the-less a loving heart beats within her. Maya is based off of Calamity Jane whom appeared in the original Wild Arms, and bears a strong physical resemblance to that character. She is the only person to use ARMS in the group, namely the Vantage Rage MM pistol, the AW-RSTN87 minigun, and a few other ARMs which aren't named. Of course, there is an open question on if any of these ARMs are actually real. Maya's overall resemblence to Jane Maxwell isn't an accident. She is actually a "Template" that can assume the characteristics of any particular chracter she reads about (within reason). Since her favorite book is apparently "Disaster Girl of the Wasteland", she literally adopts the Jane Maxwell persona most of the time. She also, however, appears as a Magical Girl, Martial Artist Master, and "Egg-Head". The last persona seems to be closest as to what Maya is really like. This "Template" ability may also explain just how Maya can summon weapons from apparently nothing, or how she can ruffle her skirt a little bit and spontaneously generate a minigun! These may not actually be real weapons at all, just simply manifestations of her ability. Indeed, Zeikfried even goes so far as to declare her abilities as "extreme illusions", which effectively makes her an extremely powerful psychic with decidedly unusual manifestations of her power. Elhaym Van Houten, nicknamed Elly, is the young, skilled officer of the Solaris Military. Her parents are pure solarians. Her mother is a woman called Medena, and her father's name is Eric, who works on the Imperial Guard. Elly was created by the Wave Existence out of Abel's need for a mother. Elly was leading an operation to steal a top-secret experiment gear from the rival country Kislev, but was forced to crash-land in Lahan. Her encounter with Fei changes her life forever. Elly is an optimist and wants to help Fei, despite the fact that he is a LAMB, and she cannot leave the military. She is a competent fighter with her rods, but she has powerful elemental ether, which makes her valuable to the party. Elly has one issue that remains with her, despite her being a Solarian and the daughter of one of the Empire's most decorated officers, there is the fact of her appearance, being red-haired and blue-violet eyed somewhat separates her from other Solarians who are mostly blond and blue-eyed. For a time, she thought her mother was not the woman her father married, and had actually been her childhood nanny who was a Lamb. This fact of her life was a mark of ridicule by some people of Solaris, including Elly's former comrade in the Elements, Dominia. It's only toward the midpoint of the game that Elly learns that this was how she looked ever since the dawn of life on their planet. Her love for Fei was once something she didn't understand until she realized that they were truly meant to be together, as they had been in their previous lives for the past ten thousand years (10,000 years). They consummated this love on the Yggdrasil, and they cherished it when they returned to Ignas to be with their friends. Elly's love for others and for Fei helped her move through the deaths of both her mother and father and helped her fight for her freedom when she was possessed by Miang in the Merkava.
