Erroneously humbling himself before the Iga, Gennosuke is the very definition of honorable. In hopes of winning their admiration for the sake of his botrothed, Oboro, he will do anything to ensure their matrimony. While Gennosuke tries to break the long-lasting hateful tradition and welcome the Iga as family, they plot against him, picking off his clansmen one by one. Well loved by the Kouga, Gennosuke is feared greatly by his enemies. He is thought to be so powerful that the Iga avoid direct confrontation with him at all costs. This fear is greatly justified for he posseesses the ultimate doujutsu technique, taught by his master Hyoma. (Source: FUNimation's Official Basilisk Website)
First appearance: Battle 14 Age: 18 Type: Dou Type: Satsujin Ken Martial Arts: Tae Kwon Do Kouga Taichi, also known as Kouga the Kicker, was part of the Techniques Trio along with Takeda Ikki and Ukita Kouzou in Ragnarok and the only one out of the three that did not join Shinpaku Alliance. Kouga is a young man of average height with short dark hair and wears a headband on his head. He wears a white shirt with an open blue shirt over it and shorts with pockets. He's also shown to have a bit of a feminine look. He also wears a long earrings on his left ear. In the anime, he is much shorter than he is in the manga. Unlike Takeda and Ukita, he seems to bear hateful grudges against Kenichi, who he plans to take down himself, and Miu, whom he calls "Neko Shojo" (Cat Girl). He never truly cared for Takeda or Ukita and was fine with beating them up for their betrayal. Though he is a strong fighter, he possesses a carefree attitude, which usually earns him a beating from Kisara. He is very loyal to Ragnarok and is always eager to deliver punishments to those who betray the gang. He can even be seen as ruthless and somewhat sadistic, as he had planned to break Ukita's arm by jumping and snapping it in two with a falling-axe kick but thankfully he was thwarted. Even some of his men thought that was a little too much but Kouga wanted to do it cause Ukita threw him into garbage and thought it would be fun. Kouga is first shown when Takeda showed his desire to fight Kenichi. When Kenichi and Miu were walking home from shopping, Kouga and his gang ran into them and prepared to fight them. He showed an interest in Miu, but once she beat all of his men and kicked him, he grew to develop a grudge against him. Kenichi would then fight him and deliver a shallow punch on his chin and cause him to lose his balance which defeated him. He later appeared to give Takeda his farewell beating for leaving Ragnarok and was shocked that Ukita betrayed them and sided with Takeda by throwing Kouga in the trash. When Ukita was caught, he planned to jump up and break his arm despite the others protests, but was thwarted by Kenichi's punch in the back. The next day, he laughed at Kisara's loss against Miu. He traveled with Kisara to ruin Miu's play, but when Kenichi showed up and stopped them, Kouga was again defeated by Kenichi. When Kisara's gang joined Shinpaku, Kouga was forced to get along with the other members of the alliance. However, he was actually a double agent for Loki and when he tried to give Niijima some soda with laxatives in it, Niijima saw through this and forced Kouga to drink it and he ran away needing a bathroom. His current whereabouts are unknown, but with Ragnarok disbanded, it's likely he now is still a thug or forced to go back to school.
He didn't have a home and he didn't want one until he met Kouso. After meeting him, he learned Archery and stood beside Kouso's side. He also killed a very important person to Ryoutou.
Konoha's older brother, and grandson of Mitsugai Amagi. Both academically and sports-inclined, especially soccer. However, although he is popular with girls, he doesn't really know how to act around them, and Jin says he is "so honest, it hurts." Due to his attraction to an anime 'Ginga Choujin Alphasz', Kouga has developed a strong sense of justice since young. Urged by his encounter with Jin during a fire accident (caused by a Player) to become a hero of justice. He had been depending on a trio of researchers since middle school for gadgets which could assist him in his escapades. He lost his right forearm during his captivity by Jirou Nakata, together with his sense of justice. After he managed to save Mayu, he is fitted with a smart prosthetic arm (eventually revealed by Hayami to have a tracking system in it), and is required to undergo several months of rehabilitation. During this time, Kouga regains his composure and is dating Mayu. After learning about the Players and his grandfather's involvement in the project, he initiates the Alphasz Project with the Trio, who created a high-performance combat body suit resembling Kouga's childhood hero, complete with high-tech weaponry and gadgets, to combat his grandfather's creations. However, his Alphasz suit isn't strong enough to help him take on Souya, as he learned the hard way. He is very protective of his family, especially his sister, Konoha. In his first battle as Alphasz, he teams up with Jin/ZET to defeat the Shrimp EVOL, and discovers Jin's identity as ZET. He then tells Jin that he is currently the best hope the world has of defeating the players, and that he will strive to catch up to him. After Hayami attempted to capture Jin, he goes into hiding along with Konoha, Jin, Mei, Shimura, Hanae, and the two black suits until Kouga manages to convince his father to clear Jin of all charges, though Seizou warns Kouga not to trust Jin. During the assault on Amagi Corp., he is captured and detained by Hayami. Hayami then proceeds to inject Kouga with a bug created by the clone of Ichirou, which would bring his body to perform superhuman abilities. However, as soon as the bug wears out, his body will be left in a crippled state, something Hayami is fine with. As soon as he regains consciousness, he enters his Alphasz suit and uses both his newly acquired powers and his weapons to defeat the Knight Player. During his conversation with Haitani afterwards, he reveals that if Jin becomes the monster he swore to destroy, he would kill him himself. In response, Haitani gives him the "Crimson Stake" to place into Jin's chest, in order to become the true ZET and to see if Jin can remain himself. However, before he can place the stake into Jin's chest, Jin stopped him, telling him this is exactly what Haitani wants to happen. It is currently unknown what happened to Kouga after Jin experienced another blackout. (Source: Wikipedia)
