Jiro is a headstrong kid that is set on revenge for all of the destruction Nene has caused. It has been assumed that Nene may have burnt down his village and taken his entire village (or kids) hostage, just like what happened with Shu's village. Jiro is constantly causing rifts between him and Shu, just to make their rivalry that much more of a "rivalry." He has been traveling with Zola for some time now and knows about "The Book of Origins" and the history of the Seven Warriors of Light. He is the complete opposite of Shu, leading them to their rivalry. But the one thing they both have in common is that they both have the strengh and willpower to defeat the Grand Kingdom if they try hard enough.
Chiharu is Tatsuya's and Mai's father. He is always away, because he is on various treasure hunts and adventures. He can be associated with "Indiana Jones", because of his looks and profession.
Jin is Natsuki's older brother and is also one of her co-workers at the restaurant that their father owns. He constantly makes his sister angry when at work which gets him thrown out of the restaurant, usually breaking a window on the way out. Everything he breaks due to this act is taken out of his paycheck.
Outgoing and usually the instigator of the pack, she is identifiable by the fact that she does not wear a blazer over her shirt and tie like most other characters. She likes to achieve her objectives in a straight-forward manner and doesn't really seem to mind other people's circumstances. Because she was absent during the first few days of school, she was unwittingly assigned as a member of the discipline committee. She has an older brother Kitsune, whom she apparently holds in very low regard, and an older sister Oniyuri. As she does not have a very good relationship with her family, she often runs away from her home. Due to this reason, she and Suzume missed the first few days of school as they were very far away from home on the school opening day. She's Suzume's childhood friend. She's 164cm tall and her three sizes are 81-55-82. Her name contains a kanji of tiger (虎, tora?) and the first kanji letter of her name (上) can be pronounced as 'Ue' (West), thus revealing her name's relationship with White Tiger of the West (白虎). Like his twin, Keel they spent their life on a space station with their parents. However when it was found out that the station would fall into the atmosphere and burn up- so he and his brother and their mother left- taking the only shuttle down to earth. Their father chose to stay in the station to continue mapping the new earth (Since the “Hammer of Eden” changed the landscape so much). The shuttle caught fire and Teen and his mother were lost in the ocean (Keel having been ejected). Some time later, Teen was found by caption Gould, floating in the ocean and rescued. He later served on Gould’s sub as an Adjutant. Even though he has an Aquaphobia - due to his experience before the crew found and saved him.
