She follows him to school under a human guise known as Tsurara Oikawa. She is a Yuki Onna yokai. Around the Nura House, she sometimes acts as a cook who makes delicious but usually chilled or cold food. Her eyes are dark blue while in human form and golden while in yokai form. She is fiercely loyal to Rikuo and will do anything for him. She gets visibly jealous when Rikuo mentions Kana and loves Rikuo deeply, though it is not clear if her love is romantic.
Birthday: November 1 Height: 153 cm Setsura is Tsurara's mother. She was part of Nurarihyon's Hyakki Yako and had an unrequited love for him. As a result, she came to dislike his wife Yohime. At the battle with Hagoromo Gitsune, she had a match with Ibaraki Doji 400 years ago. Setsura had tended to Rihan ever since he was born, acting much like an older sister to him since Rihan always referred to her as his "Onee-san." The two were quite close to the point where Rihan, who was still a child at the time, declared that he would make Setsura his bride.
Sayaka had a weak body until she was involved in a car accident. After she healed from the accident her demeanor became more cheerful.
The main protagonist of the series. Despite his looks and easygoing personality, he is a capable and strong worker who works for Benika as a dispute mediator. When he was young, he lost his family in a terrorist attack. As a result, he became withdrawn from the world until he met Benika. He wished to be as strong as her so he could live on. Benika decided to leave him at the H�zuki household. It was there that he trained his body extensively and learned H�zuki-style martial arts. His kind demeanor attracts considerable attention from the opposite gender, though he is completely oblivious. In emergencies, he is able to produce a large 'horn' out of his right elbow which classes him as "Type 1 Class 2 Fighting Demon". This special weapon was designed for the purpose of assassination. This lets him use his full strength in combat, but shortens his lifespan. When he is forced to fight, his personality changes to a more aggressive one. Between the anime and the manga, there are differences in the way Shinkur� is depicted. In the anime, Shinkur� is not as confident and appears to have less control over the Hozuki horn.

She is the first to meet the school's New Teacher, introducing herself as the Belgium-made assault rifle FNC. She also goes by the nickname 'Funko' from her older sister FAL who also had the name entered in FNC's teacher's student list (assumed to have used her position as Student Council President and good relationship with the teachers to do so) much to FNC's chargin. Because of the skeleton stock on her weapon-self she wears a T-back which gets her picked on due to an incident with the New Teacher calling her "T-back girl" and her literal return-fire putting him in the hospital twice. During the "extra lesson" battle against her older sister FAL, M14, and G3 she is one of the last to survive (along with SIG) until the New Teacher interrupts and drags her and L85A1 away for being in the upperclassman area.
