His father didn’t want the Ultimate Gundam to be in the hands of NeoJapan’s corrupt government, particularly Ulube Ishikawa (The head of it). Of course, this led Ulube to lie about what really happened to cover his greedy tracks. He piloted the Gundam Spiegel as Schwarz Bruder. Schwarz is nothing but a copy of Kyouji made from DG (Dark Gundam) Cells and Kyouji’s “memories”. When the Dark Gundam defeated the real Schwarz Bruder, gundam fighter of NeoGermany, was when Kyouji made Schwarz into his “mirror image." He did this for the sole purpose of protecting Domon. In Ep. 44, Domon supposedly defeats Kyouji with the Erupting Burning Finger combined with Sekiha Tenkyoken. Kyouji then disappears.

Hamaguchi first appears in the third episode as the boyfriend of Junko.
