Being a shy, timid girl, Haruka is set up with Takayuki by her friend, Mitsuki, while she is in high school. The two quickly become close, and develop an intimate relationship. She takes in an interest in collecting picture books. Very early on in the series, she is involved in a serious car accident and ends up in a coma. The main thrust of the story begins when she awakens three years later. She is afflicted with anterograde amnesia, and because of her delicate psyche, her family and Takayuki conceal the truth that three years have passed, which forms much of the tension in the series. Yuu Kajima an Earth Federation pilot from the very beginning, participating in the Battle of Loum. In late U.C. 0078, he found a mostly intact Zaku in a colony; this discovery would be a great benefit to the Federation's V Project. Yuu is the leader of the Marmot Team, one of the Federation's experimental corps who test new technologies before they're mass produced and distributed to the Federation Forces as a whole. During a sortie, the team encounters the RX-79BD-1 GM Blue Destiny Unit 1 attacking enemy and ally alike. When the GM comes after them, Philip and Samana are quickly defeated, and Yuu only barely drives it off. Later, the team is attacked by a Zeon mobile suit that fights similarly to the blue GM. Just as things look their worst, the blue GM appears and drives the enemy off. Back at the base, uYu is assigned to pilot the GM Blue Destiny. He becomes highly proficient with it, despite the fact that its EXAM System has a severe impact on his mind. Later, Yuu and his team participate in the Federation's drive to recapture California Base. Using GM Blue Destiny, Yuu is able to stop the Zeons from launching a nuclear missile. However, he is soon attacked by the MS-08TX(EXAM) Efreet Custom, piloted by Zeon ace Nimbus Schterzen. As they fight, the voice of the EXAM System reveals itself as a young Newtype girl named Marion Welch. She explains to Yuu that she was originally an assistant to EXAM creator Chlust Morses, but an experiment gone wrong put her in a coma and made an imprint of her soul on the machine. As a result, the EXAM System gives any pilot who uses it surrogate Newtype powers, but most have been driven insane by Marion's attempts to contact them. Marion begs Yuu to destroy EXAM and free her spirit. During their duel, Yuu and Nimbus cut each other down simultaneously and destroying their EXAM Systems. However, Yuu's work is not yet done. Soon after, he meets Professor Chlust Morses himself and learns that the old man is an insane xenophobe, paranoid with the fear that Newtypes will take over. Morses justifies EXAM as a necessary step in ensuring that non-Newtypes remain dominant. As they look over the newly completed RX-79BD-2 Blue Destiny Unit 2 and RX-79BD-3 Blue Destiny Unit 3, Zeon special forces attack, allowing Nimbus to hijack Blue Destiny Unit 2 and kill Morses, ensuring that he won't be able to make EXAM anymore. Nimbus escapes to space, with Yuu and his friends in hot pursuit using Blue Destiny 3. The group chases Nimbus to Side 5, where EXAM was first made, and a final showdown begins. Nimbus declares that he's the only one worthy of using EXAM and attempts to kill Yuu. Once more, the two strike each other down in unison, but this time Nimbus is killed, while Yuu drifts in space, where he is later picked up by his team. After the events of the games, Yuu continued on as a Federation soldier for the rest of the One Year War. He remained with the Federation during the Gryps Conflict and first Neo Zeon movement, eventually ending up as a member of Londo Bell during the second Neo Zeon movement. His actions while piloting Blue Destiny 1 earned Yuu the nickname "Blue Death". It is revealed that Yuu was one of the RGM-89 Jegan pilots who assisted in pushing Axis back at the end of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack.

Extremely popular with the guys (having received confessions from two men at the same time), Akiho continuously turns them down, as her sister states she is not looking for love at the moment. Yuzuha is Oboro's little sister and a friend to Aruruu and Camyu. She has been very sick with an unknown illness all her life, and is blind. Although bedridden most of the time, her senses of smell and hearing have been whetted by her lack of sight, and enabling her to recognize a person by their scent or even the manner of their footsteps. Yuzuha possesses a gentle persona, which she made especially apparent when dealing with her older brother, and in the fact that she refuses to let an animal die in the hope of obtaining her disease's cure. Sadly in the ending of the last episode (set unknown time after the events of the main series, but with the characters seemingly similar in age and appearance) she is presumed to have passed away. You see her brother Oboro visiting her grave and bringing the bell she likes. In the game, she's able to bear a healthy child by virtue of Hakuowlo's divine blood which can control her illness for some time. Oboro cares for the child in place of his late sister and leaves on a journey to show it the world.

She has a frail constitution; ten years prior, she was frequently visited by a young Raku, who brought her gifts and sparked a friendship with her. She used to speak in a rather vulgar manner but has attempted to correct her language after Raku had told her that he likes girly girls with long hair. However, when flustered, she reverts to her old speaking habits.
Age: 22 Apollo Justice is a defense attorney working for the Wright Anything Agency. He is notable for his involvement in a test trial for the Jurist System, an effort to reintegrate the jury into court proceedings, along with co-council Trucy Wright and Prosecutor Klavier Gavin and mentor Phoenix Wright. Apollo Justice is highly sarcastic and critical. He often makes blunt comments concerning his mentor Phoenix Wright's piano playing in particular. He occasionally even shows some disdain for some of his clients. He also has a vain side; he frequently makes puns out of his own name, and he practices his shouting for hours at night, calling it his "Chords of Steel", which sometimes makes his voice raspy. He frequently worries about and feels sorry for Trucy Wright, and is confused by Phoenix and Trucy's odd relationship. In court, Justice is noticeably more unsure of himself and more easily flustered than Phoenix Wright ever was. He is just as determined, however, although he tends to base his arguments more in fact and discernible thinking than his mentor did.
