A fifteen year old prodigy, whose most prominent feature is his hair, often called "rooster hair" by his colleagues. Maruo Eiichirou is a diligent student and somewhat of a perfectionist. He earned his nickname "Ei-chan" because he keeps getting straight A's on his exams. Although an honor student, he lacks in exercise, and as a result, ends up joining the Southern Tennis Club (often abbreviated as STC). It is revealed later on in the manga that his mother was the one who suggested joining a tennis club. He starts off as a naive beginner who has trouble in trying to catch up and learn the basics. However, he soon paves his way against tougher opponents such as seeded players in prefecture tournaments. After learning he needs to improve for the upcoming hurdles he will have to face, he takes up the suggestion on flying to Florida in an attempt to improve his overall performance in tennis. Although he loses his practice matches in the first few days, he eventually improves and even beats Alex, a professional player who is included in the world's top 1000. He has romantic feelings for Takasaki Natsu or Natchan, as he calls her affectionately, his fellow club and schoolmate. Later on in the manga, they start going out.
Gender: Female Age: 15 Birth date: 24 December Blood type: AB Ability: Change beads into bombs She creates special accessories in order to use her beads in more constructive ways such as: Rinko Rocket: Made of a special alloy and then filled with beads. She uses this blast herself up into the air. Beads Cannon: Special metal tubes that are filled with beads and then go over her fingers so that she can detonate one bead and send the rest of them rapidly at her opponents. Her recent accessory is a special glove with beads hidden inside when used with her power, producing a force impact that claims to be as great as a close-contact weapon. She comes from a rich family and in the past many people had pretended to be her friend so that she would buy them things. Disillusioned with the seeming coldheartedness of the world, she succumbs to Robert's hypnotic charisma and joins the Ten. Initially, Rinko has a crush on Robert since he treats her as a real friend but she eventually sees Robert for what he really is and joins up with Ueki, indeed becoming his guardian and constant caretaker. Rinko's Celestial King Candidate is a man named Nikay, one of Margarette's followers whom she hasn't seen since the battle began. She loves all animals, taking an immediate liking to Tenko (whom she calls "Tenko-chan"), but her weakness for cute things makes her vulnerable to Ban's power. Note that it is wise not to insult her no matter what, for she has a side to her that makes her incredibly unhealthy for the person who insults her. She doesn't seem to realize that she has this "evil" side and fortunately for her, she forgets whatever her "evil" side says or does. This "evil" side seems to be activated whenever someone insults her. Example : When Ban calls her an "insect," which causes her to become furious and unlock her "evil" side. This evil side has no love for animals, as shown when she remorselessly swats away Ban's cute, living Pick with her special glove, then beats Ban up by slapping him with the glove relentlessly. In another instance at the end of the manga series when she confesses her love to Robert, but Robert insults her (although he doesn't really meant to) by calling her "small fry." Robert becomes her second victim and has to be hospitalized for a fortnight. In the epilogue at the last episode of the anime, Ai says that Rinko and Robert only dated once but Rinko dumped Robert for unknown reasons. (Source : Wikipedia)
Name: Konoka Konoe Birthdate: 3/18/89 Zodiac Sign: Pisces Seat No.: 13 Room No.: 643 Hair: Dark brown Eyes: Brown Blood type: AB Three Sizes: 29-21-30 Favorite things: Fortune-telling, the supernatural, cooking Dislikes: Nothing in particular Other facts: Granddaughter of the Dean of Mahora Academy. President of the Fortune-Telling Club. Konoka Konoe is Negima's perfect "wife-to-be", as Negi himself puts it. She is mild-mannered and kind, acting like the perfect counterpart for Asuna. She sometimes has trouble understanding what's going on. Her hometown is in Kyoto, in the Kansai area. She was unaware of her magical powers before the Kyoto arc. She's said to be very powerful. She is currently training her magic under Evangeline and Negi.
Seat Number: 12 Born on: 3/16/1989 Blood Type: A Hair: Blonde Eyes: Green Likes: Training, strong men , Nikuman (a type of Chinese bun containing meat) Hates: Chao and the professor's new inventions (this appears to be a reference to a sonic game) Clubs: Chinese Martial Arts Research Society An energetic, cheerful Chinese girl with very good motor nerves, as well as skilled in Chinese martial arts. Her specialties are Xingyi Quan and Bagua Zhang, though she knows a little Baji Quan and Xinyi Liuhe Zhang as well. Since she won the Mahora Academy Martial Arts Tournament, every morning there's a big crowd challenging her (which she beats them up Akane Tendo style). After the Kyoto trip in volume 6, Negi begins training with her daily, where they share a master-student relationship. However, much like Asuna and Kaede, Ku Fei's skills as a fighter are far superior to her performance in Negi's class. She is known as Baka Yellow of the Baka Rangers, a title given to the five worst students in Negi's class. (Her bad results mainly stem from her inability to learn Japanese properly, often speaking in broken Japanese.) According to Ken Akamatsu, if Setsuna, Kaede, Mana and Kuu Fei (i.e. the "members" of the 3A Martial Arts Elite Four) were to fight without holding back, Kuu Fei would be the weakest among the four, though this is only because she uses no magic, but pure martial arts. In chapter 261, Ku Fei makes a Pactio with Negi, but only on the grounds that he beat her in an arm-wrestling match. At first he has difficulty doing so, but ends up winning in the end. She is the 10th student in Negi's class to form a Pactio with him. Her artifact is an extending pole, much like Son Goku's pole from "Journey to the West," and can also alter it's size and the speed of its extension.
