A "cool" girl is the best way to describe her. Although Rui bears the same surname as Minami, they are in fact not at all related. Rui was put into Minami's care when her father Cole Window, former chief of Heavens' recovery team, lost his life to avenge his friends. Minami treats Rui as if she was her own daughter. When Rui first appeared in the Venezuela arc, she would challenge Aoba many times to become the main pilot of the Moribito. The two would become friends through the process, but their rivalry never ends. Rui pilots the Nana-Two Way Custom with Minami during the Venezuela arc, but she will switch to the Nana-Two Mild in the Tokyo arc.
In the Giant Robo Manga & OVA Big Fire himself is the unquestioned leader of the organization of the same name. All of the Magnificent Ten serve him. He is highly mysterious, and we are treated to only brief glances of him in the latter episodes (non-speaking role) He appears as a boy with silver hair. His powers are unknown, but they are suspected to be enormous.
Kazuya's older sister, and the same age as her cousin Kysuke. She is rather tomboyish, and both Komatsu and Hatta are intimidated by her. Akane can use "The Power" to make people see illusions. She has only been seen using this power to make herself appear as different people; it is unknown if she can create other types of illusions. The illusions appear to be both aural and visual. In the manga, this power works only on the person it is directed towards, so it is probably a mixture of telepathy and hypnosis, elements of "The Power" which have been demonstrated in other members of the Kasuga family. In the anime she uses it on both Hatta and Komatsu at the same time. In the manga she develops a crush on Madoka, to the point of giving Kyosuke a hickey while dreaming about Madoka. This leads to more than a few situations where she creates an illusion of herself as Kyosuke in an attempt to determine just how the two of them feel about each other. Most of these situations end poorly for her and surprisingly, positively for Kyosuke. In the anime Akane has the same powers that Kysuke and the twins have, in addition to her illusion power. It is never indicated if this is true in the manga. Akane's appearance in the manga and anime are quite different. In the manga she looks like a cross between Kurumi and Manami. In the anime her hair is shorter and darker, her face is more stark, and she has violet eyes. Akane only appeared in two of the OVAs (where she is shown to be rather infatuated with Madoka), and never in the TV series. She appears considerably more often in the manga, almost being a regular.
Naeka's friend and fellow teammate in the kendo club. They are usually seen eating lunch together or at practice with Miwa. Eiko is usually the first to yell at her busty classmate for her shallow or selfish comments. At the same time, Eiko does enjoy her friendship with Naeka, scheming for their kendo club, wanting in on the latest gossip, or needing help with the maid cafe where she and Miwa works. Birthday: March 2 Sign: Aquarius Blood Type: A Height: 155 cm Class: Freshman Caustic, unyielding, and quick to let her dissatisfaction be known, Tsugumi’s intolerable personality has provided few friendships; though in truth has little desire in expanding upon those she already treasures. In light of this, she is strongly protective of Maki Hoshikawa – whom she regards as a sister – and constantly fears others will take advantage of the girl’s naïveté and innocence. When away from her companion’s side, Tsugumi can be found spending time at the academy library or in attendance of literature club functions.
