Ren is San's mother. She likes to encourage Sun and Nagasumi, and usually tries to keep her husband in check. She also enjoys teasing Nagasumi, whom she thinks to be cute. She transfers to Nagasumi's school later on, becoming the new school nurse.

Nakajima is a member of Seto Group. As a very minor supporting character, not much is known about him, except his human transformation is weaker than the others, as can be seen in numerous scenes where he accidentally turns back into his octopus form.

Seto Gouzaburou is Seto Sun's extremely over-protective and loving father. Head of the mermaid Yazuka in the Seto reigion, Gouzaburou is fierce and powerful. He hates Nagasumi and continuously tries to get Nagasumi killed throughout the series, and takes great satisfaction in fantisizing Nagasumi's death. He is Sun and Nagasumi's form teacher to look out for Sun during school, but along the way he starts to enjoy his position and maybe even care for his students.

Satoru's new friend who also helps program the robot. Her father works for the Japanese Embassy in the UK.
