Height: 159 cm Weight: 48 kg Species: Angeloid Sizes: 91-56-86 Introduced as the "Delta Angeloid: Close Combat Type". She is something of an airhead and has limited intelligence, due to having low processing power to be able to have high combat abilities and emotions. She weighs 48 kilograms, stands at 159cm, and her wing type is stated to be "Not Variable" and "Super Acceleration". She is sent by Synapse to dispose of Tomoki after he violates one of their rules. However, when she is ordered to eliminate Nymph, she breaks off her chain and betrays Synapse, engaging in combat with Chaos. Astraea has been described as having greater battle capabilities than Ikaros, and possesses two equipments: the super-oscillating photon blade 'Chrysaor', and a shield said to surpass the defensive power of Ikaros' 'Aegis', 'Aegis L'. However, unlike 'Aegis', 'Aegis L' is unable to cover every angle possible, only being able to block certain directions at a time, and it covers about half the area of 'Aegis' in terms of angles. Astraea's weak point is that she was made entirely for close-combat, and thus is extremely disadvantaged against opponents with long-range weapons or attacks, as she has no ranged attacks whatsoever.

Kei is a Trouble Consultant with the WWWA, an intergalactic "peace organization", with military interventionist tendancies. She and her partner, Yuri, are genetically enhanced, making them excellent fighters. Together, they are charged with taking care of problems for the WWWA, often involving bountyhunter-type activites, assasination, and occasion diplomatic missions. Wherever the two travel, massive destruction occurs, this has given the two the nickname "Dirty Pair". Whole planets sometimes begin evacuation when word of their arrival spreads. For that reason, they travel discreetly whenever possible. Kei is the more assertive of the two. She flirts with men constantly, often leading to trouble, and is a vicious spoilsport with a short fuse. Her weapon of choice is usually a very large gun, and she gets very excited when given an opportunity to fire a huge weapon. She has a tendancy towards violence and overreacting, which is tamed by Yuri's mild demeanor and contemplativeness. It can be said that while Kei is a total horndog for men, she truly, deeply cares about only one thing- and that's Yuri. Kei has bright red hair (which becomes two-tone yellow and deep orange in the sequel series "Dirty Pair Flash"). She is rather lean, and athletically built. She features extra-long legs from the "sexy hottie" school of anime drawing. Kei and Yuri both wear tiny bikinis as uniforms. The two don't care much what others think, and prefer to present themselves in a compellingly attractive way whenever possible. Despite their stereotyping way of dress, both are assertive and resourceful ladies with a solid sense of purpose and empowerment, especially Kei, who can be described as spiteful and vengeful when annoyed. Yuri is a Trouble Consultant with the WWWA, an intergalactic "peace organization," with military interventionist tendencies. She and her partner, Kei, are genetically enhanced, making them excellent fighters. Together, they are charged with taking care of problems for the WWWA, often involving bounty hunter-type activities, assassination, and occasion diplomatic missions. Wherever the two travel, massive destruction occurs, this has given the two the nickname "Dirty Pair." Whole planets sometimes begin evacuation when word of their arrival spreads. For that reason, they travel discreetly whenever possible. Yuri is demure and doesn't speak as often or as loudly as Kei. Yui likes romanic men, and longs for her childhood sweetheart, Billy Galet. She uses is small caliber hand blaster as her weapon of choice, and is often ridiculed by Kei for using such a wimpy gun. She also likes using the elegant, yet often ineffective "bloody card" as a weapon. This razor-like rectangular throwing weapon is often worn as earring jewelry. Yuri is a deep-thinking pacifist compared to her partner, but will engage in extreme, tear-filled violent acts of vengeance whenever Kei is harmed. Sometimes it is difficult to tell if these are the actions of a "mother-figure," or an "unrequited lover." Additionally, Yuri displays hostile jealousy towards the many men in Kei's life. Yuri is a very caring individual, but when it comes to Kei, the caring reaches an amazing new order of magnitude. The two have known one another since at least grade school, and are, at a minimum, best friends- on rare occasion hinting at something more beneath the surface. Yuri has black hair, which sometimes appears in anime-blue. Her extra-long legs are from the "sexy hottie" school of anime drawing. Like Kei, she is drawn differently in the sequel series "Dirty Pair Flash." Kei and Yuri choose to wear tiny bikinis as uniforms. They are oblivious to modesty, and exemplify themselves as strong willed, tough-talking, pistol-packin' mamas with a gleam of intellect and self-determination in their eyes. They are a bit like prototypes for Xena and Gabrielle, from the live-action series "Xena," come to think of it. (Source: Absolute Anime)
