Hattori is a ninja working under Ieyasu Tokugawa. She is first seen in Season 1, Episode 7. In episode 7, Hattori attempts to ruin Hideyoshi's play as ordered by Ieyasu by secretly changing out Nobunaga's script. However, after thinking that it wasn't enough, she then decides to act on her own accord and set the curtain on fire. Unfortunately, the curtain catches on fire quicker than expected and begins to burn down the entire stage. For ruining the whole thing, Hattori is promptly punished by Iyeasu. (Source: Official Site)
A sorceress from the Tokugawa clan, she excels in dark magic. She was raised by Yoshimoto Imagawa and currently lives with her. Hideyoshi calls her "Tokunyan" because she greatly resembles a friend of Hideyoshi's back in our world who was nicknamed such. Despite her cute appearance, she is the main antagonist of the series whose personality is actually quite devious, if not downright evil. Throughout the series, she plots to steal the Crimson Armor and is usually the one behind the several disasters that occur.
A mysterious warrior who appears to Hideyoshi and the others several times over the course of the series. She was shown giving Mitsuhide information on the Crimson Armor once. She bears a striking resemblance to Hideyoshi's homeroom teacher, Date-sensei. She is, in fact, Date-sensei. A descendant of the One-Eyed Dragon, Masamune Date, she has taken up the responsibly of avenging her ancestor and returning honor to her family. Her goal was to steal the Crimson Armor, this way, she could use it to unite Japan and bring glory to the Date name. She was visited by a Date clan member from the future, who gave her a device that would allow her to travel to the past. When she used it, instead of ending up in the Sengoku period in Japan, she wound up in a Japan in an alternate universe. It was because of her, attempting to time travel in the local shrine, that Hideyoshi accidentally ended up in the alternate universe as well.
Kenshin's rival, but best friend at the same time, even though she won't admit it. She rules a clan of warriors by the sea, directly next-door to Kenshin. The two are always butting heads over everything and are constantly fighting. Oda sets out to battle her for a piece of the Crimson Armor, which was handed down to her by her ancestors.
