She is noted for being particularly feminine, Yoshirô's type. She is best friends with Nobuko and is hinted at reciprocating Yoshirô's feelings. Eventually, frustrated by his inability to proclaim his affection for her, she ignores him for sometime until he, under the encouragement of Ito, commandeers the school PA system to publicly declare his love for her.
