Occupation: Archaeological Hunter Satotz, is a seemingly mouthless man, the appointed examiner for the first part of the Hunter Exam. He tests the examinees' stamina by leading them on an marathon of initially unknown length through an underground tunnel. Though he seems only to move his legs at a fast walking pace, the examinees are forced to run faster and faster to keep up with his speed. After they emerge from the tunnel, Satotsu then leads the examinees through the Numere Marsh, nicknamed the "The Swindler's Nest", Sagishi no Negura?), a swamp filled with deadly man-eating animals, before leaving them at the site of the second exam.As a Hunter archaeologist in his normal profession, he was also inspired by Ging in taking up the Hunter license. He initially simply felt a strong civic duty to carry out his role as a judge, he progressively takes a liking to Gon and wishes to help him.
In the same Hunter exam as Gon, Pokkle ends up passing. He pursues his dream of becoming a Wildlife Hunter, discovering new types of animals and plants. In the Hunter exam Pokkle uses a bow and arrows tipped with a paralyzing poison. After discovering nen, he creates a hatsu called "Rainbow." It can shoot 7 different arrows, every color of the rainbow. Every color has a different attribute. Only his red and orange arrow have been seen: flame element and the highest speed, respectively. Pokkle is caught by the Chimera Ants and manages to survive by hiding under the skulls in the area where food for the queen is prepared by Pig. However, Neferpitou catches him and extracts information about using Nen by using antennae from another Chimera Ant. Although unclear whether Pokkle died when the antennae pierced his skull or not, he is later fed to the queen by Neferpitou's command.
A young boy who studies Shingen-Ryu Kung fu and Nen under the tutelage of Wing, whom Gon and Killua meet in the Heavens Arena. He is a formidable fighter and a prodigy in his own right, said to have skills only 1 out of 100,000 people have. However, he is quickly surpassed by Gon and Killua, who are said to have skills only 1 out of 10,000,000 people have. According to the results of his water divination, Zushi is a Manipulator. Amori is the oldest of the Amori Brothers and examinee #197 in the 287th Hunter Exam. He always wears a tuque and a polo neck sweater. One year later, Amori and his brothers attend the 288th Hunter Exam, confident that they will pass, only to be easily knocked unconscious together with the other applicants in the First Phase by Killua. Seeing the huge gap in abilities between him and themselves, they decide to never take the Hunter Exam again.
Imori is the most cowardly of the Amori Brothers and applicant #198 in the 287th Hunter Exam. He always wears a baseball cap. One year later, Imori and his brothers attend the 288th Hunter Exam, only to be easily knocked unconscious together with the rest of the applicants in the first phase by Killua. Seeing the tremendous gap in abilities between him and themselves, Imori and his brothers decide to never take the Hunter Exam again.
