Despite that, he can be quite serious, especially when worrying about those he cares for.

He graduated from wizard school early because he skipped a grade. He entered the wizard department at the young age of seventeen and became the under-secretary of the wizard department at twenty-two. His position is right below the master wizard. He is the oldest son of the famous noble family. Yue seems to be responsible for keeping Glenn, Fern and Vaith in line and can sometimes be strict, but he does care for them, and is extremely loyal. Since she and Sylthfarn are promised to be married when they are older and since she loves Sylthfarn, Seraphia tends to be a bit a bit clingy and possessive of the Master Wizard. Though she is initially convinced that Mel is Sylthfarn, she eventually comes to realize that Mel is an impostor. Despite being deceived, Seraphia is very kind to Mel and worries for her.
Mel is the protagonist of the story who just moved to the magical capital to improve her magic skills. But on her way to the first day of school Vaith kidnaps her and takes her to the royal castle where Sylthfarns most trusted friends ask her to impersonate the master wizard so the country does not panic. Though grudgingly mel accepts the job and the story continues from here....
Lenolora is a strong-willed General from Caldia. She attended the wizard's school with Yue, before his blunt words about her magical ability, forced her to rethink her life's calling. She eventually dropped out and decided to enter into the Caldian military. Despite Yue ruining her dreams as a child, Lenolora maintains a strong friendship with him and greatly enjoys endlessly teasing him. She was also friends with Sylthfarn, prior to his disappearance.
