The first of the Empire's Grand Moffs, Tarkin had many influential friends such as Raith Seinar and chancellor Palpatine. Tarkin was placed in charge of the Death Star project, and perished along with it when he underestimated the Rebels chance of success.
Han Solo's Wookie companion, a skilled mechanic and a fearsome fighter. As the son of the chieftain Attichitcuk, Chewbacca fought against the CIS on Kashyyyk during the Clone wars, and helped Jedi Master Yoda escape from Order 66. Due to the Wookies aiding the Jedi, the now Imperial forces retaliated against Kashyyyk, forcing Chewbacca to leave the planet. He was later saved from Imperial and Trandoshan slavers by the Imperial lieutenant Han Solo, whom he stayed with ever since.
An Imperial senator and the princess of Alderaan, as well as a figurehead for the Rebellion. She was captured by the Empire above Tatooine when her Corellian corvette Tantive IV was transporting the Death Star plans to a rebel base, and was later rescued from aboard the Death Star by Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.
One of the survivors from the Battle of Yavin, Wedge Antilles continued fighting for the Rebellion throughout the civil war, and formed the elite Rogue Squadron along with Luke Skywalker. He was also the one who destroyed the second Death Star along with Lando Calrissian during the battle of Endor.
A gambler and smuggler who were the previous owner of the Millennium Falcon. He later became Baron Administrator of Cloud City on Bespin, and joined up with the Rebellion after the Empire took control of Cloud City. He piloted the Millennium Falcon into the core of Death Star II along with Wedge Antilles during the battle of Endor, and succeeded in destroying the space station.
A Mandalorian bounty hunter and a clone of Jango Fett. Unlike his genetic clone trooper brothers, Boba was raised as a son by Jango. After the rise of the Empire, Boba frequently took missions from the Imperials, and even worked alongside Darth Vader on some occasions. He later brought the carbonite forzen Han Solo to Jabba, and was presumed dead for some time after falling into the mouth of the Sarlacc. He eventually became the Mandalore and led the Mandalorians through the Yuuzhan Vong war.
Yomi's advisor, Yoda is a technological genius, creating various devices, such as the energy meter that tells an opponent's youki level in numbers. During the Makai Tournament, he assists Koto as announcer.
