Bickslow is a 22 year-old member of the Fairy Tail Guild and, along with Freed Justine and Evergreen, makes up Laxus Dreyar's team Raijinshuu. His member's stamp is on his tongue. He is clearly identifiable by his "creepy" appearance, covered in black armor, face half concealed and constantly sticking out his tongue and laughing maniacally. Bickslow refers the dolls he controls with his magic as "babies." Bickslow seems to like souls, which fits in with his actual magic and figure eyes. Bickslow possesses Seidhr magic, which allows him to seal wandering souls into dolls or objects and manipulate them. This is shown by the five dolls that float around him. He fights by sending these dolls flying about rapidly and having them fire beams of energy from their mouths. Because of his type of magic, he is also able to see human souls. Bickslow, like Evergreen possess a special eye magic which allows him to turn anyone who looks into his eyes into dolls, allowing him to control their souls. Aside from his magic, Bickslow is relatively weak physically.
Wakaba Mine is a 36-year-old veteran mage who uses smoke magic. He has been in the Fairy Tail Guild for a very long time and has made many memories with many of the older guild members like Reedus Jonah and his rival Macao Conbolt. Elfman is an 18 year-old mage. He is one of the physically stronger Fairy Tail mages, exhibiting the ability called "Take Over," which allows him to absorb the power of monsters he defeated into his right arm, earning him the nickname "Beast Arm Elfman." His member stamp is on his neck. His skill is among the top level in Fairy Tail; however, due to past events, he is no longer able to use Take Over to transform his entire body. It is revealed that in the past, an error occurred with his full-body transformation, leading him to lose control over his actions. Lisana, his younger sister and former member of Fairy Tail, sacrificed her life to break his concentration and help Elfman regain sanity. As a result, his most recent attempts at full-body Take Over induces a flashback of his sister, breaking his concentration and causing the spell to fade. This event has also caused Elfman's heart to lock shut. During the attack on Fairy Guild by Phantom Lord, Mirajane is taken hostage while pretending to be Lucy. Elfman, determined to overcome this setback and keep his vow to "never see his sister's tears" helped him regain the ability of full-body Take Over, helping him defeat Sol, a member of the Elemental 4. It seems both he and his sister Mirajane were badly hurt in the past due to their younger sister, Lisana, dying. It's said that Elfman's heart is locked shut because of what happened to Lisana. He is a Gundam fan and arguably the most hardcore otaku out of all of Genshiken. Madarame buys d�jinshi without looking at price tags, something that occasionally leaves him with very little spending money on basic necessities such as food (his sushi of choice is bacon sushi topped with mayonnaise, cheap at 50 yen a piece). Madarame takes pride in everything that he purchases. The Official Genshiken Data Book's otaku quiz section calls the highest level of otaku "Madarame." Madarame's loud and adamant support of his own otaku lifestyle initially makes him Saki's nemesis in Genshiken, but as Madarame develops a crush on Saki it heavily influences his interactions with her. However, even after graduating and getting job at Sakura Pipe Repair thanks to his "computer literacy" (i.e. experience with porn games) Madarame never admits his feelings to Saki as he does not want to risk ruining their friendship. In the relaunch of the manga, Madarame still drops by the Genshiken clubroom for lunch. In order to help the crossdressing Hato be able to come to the clubroom as a girl while attending classes as a male, Madarame agrees to allow Hato use his apartment to change since it is very close to the school. In the spin-off manga series "Spotted Flower" (unconfirmed if canon), Madarame is finally in a relationship with Saki; they are married (she took his virginity) and Saki is pregnant with their child. Raised in the United States since the third grade, she graduated from an American high school, joining the Genshiken at the beginning of the Fall term. Normally soft-spoken and easily embarrassed, Kanako is surprisingly upfront when it comes to one of her two main passions: cosplay. With a nice figure and large bosom, Kanako and her cosplaying (using costumes sewn personally by Tanaka, whom she begins dating) quickly become Genshiken's main attraction at student fairs. Kanako's other main passion is yaoi involving muscular, middle-aged, exceedingly bald men. One of the reasons Kanako joins Genshiken in the first place is because only they would accept her fetish. She is also close to Saki, as Saki was the first one to find out about Kanako's preference for older men. Kanako is against cosplay sex, claiming that doing so betray the characters, but when asked if it's okay to have sex while cosplaying as a porn character, she becomes very embarrassed and indicates she has already used that loophole. Her decision to become the next president of Genshiken comes from Saki's suggestion that she could turn it into a cosplay club (literally "Society for the Study of Cosplay" in the original Japanese). Kanako later passes the presidency on to Ogiue. In the relaunch of the manga, it is revealed that she is not job hunting as she is waiting for Tanaka to finish his additional schooling, implying that she may be planning to be a housewife or to help him. Macao Conbolt is one of the older mages of the Fairy Tail Guild, being 36. He uses a special flame, the purple flare, which cannot be blown off by wind or water. He's also very skilled in transformation magic, an ability which can even deceive an equal expert such as Mirajane. He's divorced and is dating a younger girl. Freed Justine is a 20-years old mage who is skilled enough to be a S-Class Mage(stated by Erza). Freed is a member of the Fairy Tail Guild who doesn't show his face often. Laxus Dreyar calls him Freed the Dark. He hasn't been to the guild for half a year, and hasn't met any of the newer members like Lucy Heartfilia. During Fairy Tail's battle with Phantom Lord Guild, he was off in another town. He is a member, and also the captain, of the Raijinshuu, a group of mages who act as servants to Laxus, with Freed as the self-proclaimed captain. He is known as one of the "Mystery Men" along with Mystogan and Gildarts. His magic style is Enchantments. Freed seems to be the most quiet of the Raijinshuu. He also seems to care for his former friends as he questioned Laxus when Laxus told him to kill other Fairy Tail members if he must. He seems to respect Laxus as he does whatever Laxus says even killing other guild members if he is ordered. When Mirajane shouts at him saying weren't they friends, Freed closes his eyes and replied "we were once." After Laxus left Fairy Tail, he shaved his head, it grew back to normal as seen in chapter 165. Freed's magic allows him to write runes that, depending on what is written, will actually effect its target, though Freed's magic seems to do more with inflicting pain and suffering on his opponents. It was first used during the Battle of Fairy Tail, where Freed's enchantments were used as traps do have the guild members fight each other to escape.
