Kuze Shuuichi is Asou Renji's neighbor and a good friend to Himura Yuu. He is a womanizer and especially fond of Asou Sumire, despite her being married. Shuuichi is a famous violinist of whom Hirono Hiro is a fan. In the past, he went to the same school as Himura Yuu, Hirono Nagi, and Amamiya Yuuko; all of whom he considered to be his friends, though Kuze was planning on moving to another country by the time he met the last one. Being a ladies man, Himura asked Shuuichi to investigate his kouhai (underclassman) Yuuko, which turned out with results, as she was the one scaring her classmates and the one who started a fight (to keep what is in her bag hidden). Before leaving, Kuze Shuuichi had a farewell party, but only inviting his three close friends at the school. However, due to their problems, none of them stayed through his entire piece (Amamiya felt his playing was too wonderful, which made her leave in tears, with Himura following her at Shuuichi's insistance), and Nagi did not even come. Later, the violinist came back to for a short time to visit an acquaintance. During this time, he sent a letter to Yuu and Yuuko, who were living together, telling them his news. While he was playing in the street, a little girl, named Hayama Mizuki, also known as Miki, was drawn to the melody from afar. When she reached Kuze, he called her a "cute little lady (kawaii ujouchan)" and tied his own hair ribbon on her head, which made Miki happy. Six months before Mizuki went to Otowa, Australia for vacation prior to entering university, Kuze was diagnosed with a fatal disease. During this period, he decides to end all of his relationships, including the one with his fiancee, as he does not want anyone to miss him. He also wants his neighbors, Renji and his mother, Sumire, to treat him normally. While burning the letters he received, Kuze finds a rare one from Hirono, but decides to burn it as well without reading the content. As he is emptying his place of furniture, he meets Hayama, who wants someone to play with, but her cousin, Asou, is busy studying for examinations. Oblivious to Shuuichi's condition, Mizuki asks him to play for her live (he has albums), but he lies, saying that the violin is broken, where in fact he has no desire to play. After she finds out about his illness, Kuze leaves Hayama, like he did to the other girls he dated. Depression and frustration take over Shuuichi, leading him to fight with Yuu and Nagi. Moreover, the latter lies to Miki, telling her that she is Shuuichi's fiancee, and that Hayama should leave him alone. In spite of that, thanks to Himura's advice and encouragement from her friends, including receiving two school rooftop keys, Mizuki picks herself together and decides to fight (literally) for Kuze. Just as she was maing up with him, Shuuichi collapses and is hospitalized. Though there is a high risk with low gains, he decides to finally do something in which Kuze might lose at (which made him abstain from confessing to Hirono, whom he liked, in the past) and have the operation. It ends in success, and Shuuichi lives his remaining days with his lover Mizuki (who comes to call him by his first name), appreciating every second he has with her, and hoping to see her grow as much as possible.

First appearance: Battle 48 Type: Sei Type: Katsujin Ken Martial Arts: Karate (especially utilizes the Spear Hand that uses Tame) Loki was the former Fourth Fist of Ragnarok but is now a spy for the Shinpaku Alliance. He uses a Karate style that involves using all the joints in his arms. Besides being a powerful fighter, he is also quite intelligent, using information about his opponents to his advantage. Despite his strength, Loki prefers to win by using any means necessary: he kidnaps Honoka after learning that she is Kenichi's sister, despite Hermit's protests. His ultimate goal is unknown, but it seems that he wanted to destroy Ragnarok from the inside, planting seeds of doubt among the Eight Fists in order to disorient the gang. Niijima states that both he and Loki follow the "Art of Evil", which is why Loki uses dirty methods to win. Loki first "appears" using one of his "shadows" to meet with Niijima and to destroy Shinpaku Alliance. His thugs soon surround Niijima and his common soldiers and gang up on them, though are defeated when Kenichi, Takeda, and Ukita burst in and join the fray. Loki is then seen talking with Siegfried about Shinpaku, and quickly spots Niijima, who was spying on the two at the time. He allows Siegfried to chase Niijima and arranges for Niijima's deportation on a cargo ship. He orders his common thugs to attack Kenichi and Miu, who try to save Niijima, though does not participate in the battle himself. Loki then meets up with Hermit and kidnaps Honoka, using Kensei's name to quiet the protest from Hermit and order the latter around. During Kenichi's battle with Hermit, Loki threatens Kenichi to stop while he orders Number 20 to hold a knife to Honoka and Hermit to attack Kenichi, all the while detailing Hermit's past that led up to his entrance into the world of martial arts. When Hermit refuses, Loki steps into battle himself and attacks Kenichi, while his plans are ruined with Hermit saving Honoka. The battle ends harshly for him as Odin breaks his goggles and chastises him for haphazardly dropping Kensei-sama's name, forcing Loki to retreat. Later, Loki corners Niijima with a wall of his "shadows" blocking Niijima's exit from the warehouse, Loki manages to put Shinpaku to its own standstill, though the common Ragnarok forces are unable to catch Niijima. Loki uses this as an opportunity to blame Odin for Ragnarok's recent troubles and unveils his New Eight Fists to replace the old Eight Fists that Ragnarok lost, allowing himself to be ranked second to Berserker. However, he and his replacement Fists are quickly defeated by Berserker, who shows no interest of leading any gang. In Battle 306, Loki is seen sending information about Yomi to Niijima, who he appears to be working with to gather information. It is said that Loki is afraid of Yomi.

Loki is Nakaba's servant. He is half animal and half human. He hates Caesar, and is plotting to assassinate him. He asks Nakaba to go along with it, but she is unsure. He frequently rescues Nakaba from Caesar and cares for her a great deal. He is her personal servant and took care of her since she was young. It is revealed later that Loki is Nakaba's older brother. He also possesses the arcana of time and has been using it from the beginning of the story. Later in the series, Loki demands that Nakaba gives him Senan. Neither Caesar or Nakaba are willing to fight him, so Loki gets his wishes. Nakaba stays in Belquat to rule with Caesar. All the subpersons in Belquat are relocated to Senan, and all the humans in Senan are relocated in Belquat. The subpersons are officially freed from slavery. Nakaba receives a message from Senan that Loki is dead. She also received a note, but passes out before she can read it. In her arcana, all the locked doors are open, and she learns that Loki is actually her older brother. Their mother told Loki to pretend he was Nakaba's servant outside their village because they'd be killed if the fact that they're siblings is discovered. When Nakaba wakes up, she reads the message from Senan. It's a note from Loki saying that he gives Senan to her. When Rito delivers the news of Loki's death, he tells her Loki's cause of death is from the overuse of his arcana.
