Makarov, is the "Master" of the guild. He is eighty-eight years old and is also one of the Ten Great Holy Mages. Makarov shows extreme dislike for the Council and all the rules they try to impose on guilds. He frequently attempts to balance reprimands from the council and the eccentricity of his guild. He encourages Fairy Tail to do what they feel is right, but he has shown some concern that Natsu, Ezra, and Gray will someday level a whole town. His magical abilities include Titan magic, giving him the ability to grow his body parts gigantic and his body into a giant sized version of himself, and can control various other forms of magic including fire, ice and wind, which give him an immense magical power. The members of his guild affectionately refer to him as Ji-san or grandpa. Makarov also sees all of his guild members as his own children and will do anything to protect them. He has a perverted side, shown when he states he wishes to be smashed by Lucy's breasts and subsequently spanks her many times as a punishment. When the Fairy Tail guild building was attacked by Phantom Lord, he didn't seem to care and shrugged off the situation, noting that Guild wars are forbidden. However, after the Shadow Gear team was ambushed in the night by Phantom Lord and crucified to a tree, he leads a full frontal attack against Phantom Lord. However, Makarov, distracted and upset, is ambushed by Aria from Phantom Lord, causing him to lose his magic and forcing the Fairy Tail guild to retreat. Erza noted that they wouldn't be able to defeat Jose without Makarov, and Porlyusica noted that Makarov didn't think over the attack and rushed into things without considering his age, calling him a fool for acting this way. After recovering, Makarov returns and defeated Jose with his "Fairy Law," a powerful spell that only defeats those he considers his enemy. Afterwards, Aria attempts to attack him again, but Makarov easily dispatches him, showing Aria's previous victory was a fluke due to Makarov losing his focus. Given his advanced age, he considers retirement, but considers Laxus as too uncaring, Gildarts impossible for some unknown reason, Mystogan as too reclusive, and Erza as too young and brash to succeed him as guild master. After hearing the damages made by the team Erza-Lucy-Gray-Natsu-Happy from Mirajane, he cried that it's impossible to retire by now. Hiro Mashima stated in a Behind the name segment in Volume 2, that he wanted Makarov to have a name that sounded Russian.
A dragon of heaven, Aoki is a mild-mannered copy editor with a wife and child, who is also a wind magician. In the TV series, upon discovering that the battle between the Seals and Angels is at hand, he secretly divorces his wife Shimako in order to spare her grief should he be killed. Although Aoki is very powerful, he rarely sees any action in battle for much of the first half of the story as he is quite busy editing manuscripts. He is a wind master, with the ability to conjure and control wind currents. This is his family's gift; his nephew Saiki Daisuke has the same ability, though he isn't as strong. In Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle He's one of the seven fighters of the Tower faction, who live in the apocalyptic world of Tokyo.
The class president in Toru's class (1-D), he is a highly respected member of the school: due to his much-revered older brother and his own excellence in both academic performance and character, he is referred to as "Sakamoto-sama" by his peers regardless of their seniorities, and all students bow when they see him, though he feels somewhat intimidated by such reverence. For pretty much the same reasons, he has been hand-picked by Arisada as the next in line for the student council president and has on quite a number of occasions shown great leadership skills. He has five immediate family members, all of whom are amazingly beautiful (and, in his sisters' case, androgynous as well). In the past, Akira had often been pointed out as the only "average" looking person in his family by both himself and strangers. For a while, Akira felt out of place or "unworthy" of belonging to his family. When his family found out about his worries, they quickly reassured him and dismissed such ideas. His siblings (especially his older brother and older sister) usually fight for his attention, since their brother is such a kind-hearted and good-natured boy. Akira and his family are the main characters of one of Tsuda's earlier manga works, Family Complex. (Source: Wikipedia)
The name "Miles Prower" is a pun on "miles per hour", a reference to the famed speed of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a young, male, golden-yellow, anthropomorphic fox with two tails (similar to the mythological kitsune, or "yoko", which was often depicted with up to nine), hence the nickname. He is able to use his two tails to propel himself into the air like a helicopter for a limited time. His debut was in October 16, 1992, taking part in the 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2; the 16-bit version was released that November. He is 8 years old, stands at 80cm (2ft 7in), and weighs 20kg (44lbs). Viewing Sonic as somewhat of an older brother, Tails looks up to the hedgehog and aspires to be like him. Though lacking confidence in his abilities as well as experience, Tails does things in a more logical sense than Sonic, often using his ability with machines to turn the tides. (Source: Wikipedia)
Seishiro's mother. She appears very briefly in the anime and in the manga. She was killed by her son in their house's garden when he was 15.
Thru Shir (née Magami) is Kamui's mother and shadow sacrifice, as one of the Magami clan. Thru burns along with the house that she and Kamui lived in while on Okinawa. It is explained in the anime that she died to postpone or alleviate the disasters that would befall Kamui in the time leading up to the promised day (thus acting as his shadow sacrifice), and in the manga, that she acted as a sacrifice to prevent the premature destruction of the planet itself. Hinoto attributes Thru's fiery death to the concentrated effect that global warming was having on the Earth. Originally, she was supposed to give birth to the first Sacred Sword, but Saya took her place. Thru was personally in contact with the former Chairman of Clamp Academy — indeed, Thru was just ending a phone call with her when the effects of acting as shadow sacrifice of Kamui/the Earth were set into motion, igniting her flesh. Tru's death occurs just prior to the beginning of the first volume of the manga (chronologically) and is what causes Kamui to return to Tokyo after a six year absence. In the movie, she dies in a similar fashion by being burned to death, however she was able to give Kamui his Sacred Sword while she was dying and her last words were for Kamui were for him to go to Tokyo for the final battle and informs him about the Dragons of Heaven and the Dragons of Earth at the beginning of the film. In the X Tarot set, she and her sister represent The Tower. Source: wikipedia
Tokiko Magami is Kamui's aunt and the nurse at Fūma and Kotori's school. Tokiko attempts to alert Kamui to the significance of his ancestry and of his role in the end of the world, but they are interrupted by a battle at Togakushi Shrine in the manga, while Kamui is highly skeptical of her claim to being his mother's younger sister (despite her unmistakable resemblance to Thru) in the anime TV series. After being attacked by shikigami in the form of "men in black", Tokiko arrives at the Togakushi Shrine severely injured just in time to give birth to the second Sacred Sword before the eyes of Kamui and Fūma. Tokiko was apparently in contact with Imonoyama Nokoru and the former Chairman of Clamp Academy. Her final message to Kamui is delivered through a video entrusted to the director of Clamp Academy, where she explains the choice Kamui must make and to carefully consider who he wishes to protect as well as what he truly desires for the Earth's fate. In the X Tarot set, she and her sister represent The Tower.
