Yuko is a young alien girl who escaped to the world of humans. After meeting Kazumi, a human girl, at a rock concert, the two decide to go to Kazumi's apartment to hang out. Before Yuko even takes off her shoes, however, she leaves through Kazumi's TV with her trusty cybernetic steed, FACE, and into another dimension to fight a retaliatory war against hordes of evil monsters, and the tyrannical dictator of Yuko's world.

A mysterious foreigner who lives in the Demon's Castle, known only as the infamous Black Swordsman. He is dark, young, and an exceptionally skilled warrior. His services, however, can only be paid for by procuring a particular genre of book. In order to protect her village, a young Irish girl enlists his help in fighting an imminent attack with English soldiers.

Neesha, along with Corey, Fergus, and Ash and his friends were the only Pokémon Trainers who were able to make it to New Island. She made it to New Island by riding on her Dewgong's back. She was one of the Trainers who battled Mewtwo (or rather, its Blastoise clone), using Shellshocker, her Blastoise; however, Mewtwo's cloned Blastoise easily defeated it with a Rapid Spin attack. She seems to have a very close and somewhat motherly relationship with RD, and is usually there for him when he needs help. It's quite obvious that they have feelings for each other, even though they have yet to come out. In many ways, she acts like an older sister to RD, even though she's younger then him. Sweet seems to see Amy as a rival for RD's affections, even though the rivalry exists only in her head. Sweet does a lot of the day to day work in running the team, doing financial work as well as cooking and running the base. She hopes to recruit his services to protect her village from an imminent attack by English soldiers; however, the Black Swordsman will only accept a particular genre of books as payment for his services. Upon receiving her book, the swordsman engulfs himself in reading the novel. While the girl anxiously awaiting the Black Swordsman to finish the novel, the English approach the Irish village. The girl knows the Black Swordsman's secret, but she makes a promise never to tell anyone about it, otherwise he'll kill her.
